We were all at Marcus’s, perfecting our plans for sending Brandon into Darrius’s territory to find the other two bears. The plan was simple: find the bears, then he would let us know, and a few of us would get there, sedate them, and bring them back here to join Ian. It was simple and should be easy to accomplish. Of course, this is the group we are talking about. Nothing is ever simple. Also, nothing ever goes as planned. We were just finishing up when Dad came bursting through the door. We all jumped, and there were quite a few swear words said. I looked at him as my heart was still pounding and gave him a glare. I could tell by the look on his face that something was wrong.

“Dad, what is going on?” I asked.

“Mykayla and Kylani are at the pack hospital. They are both in labor.” He gasps out.
