One-Hundred Fifty-Seven: Safety Dustin I had Einyn and Trent go back to where Reecie’s parents live. With all these new pack members, I thought it would be for the best. Most of them have adjusted fine, but there are a few that I am still not sure of. Some of the guys have noticed them watching the girls. This has me very nervous. I have no doubt that the girls can protect themselves, but with the intensity with which some of the new members had been watching the girls, I worry. I am not the only one that has noticed this either. “You think they will do anything?” Josh asks. “No, with the ass-kicking that they gave those guys the other day I am more than confident that they are safe,” Blake says. That was a great day. Those assholes had no idea what was going to happen. They thought that the girls would be an easy target. Oh boy, were they surprised, and they had their asses royally handed to them. That made my heart happy. Many egos were destroyed that day. “Where
One-Hundred Fifty-Eight: From the Inside Darrius My guys on the inside have still not seen the unicorns. From what I was told was that two of the people they used to see regularly have not been seen in a couple of weeks. I bet that they have moved them to a safe location. I also bet that it is somewhere that no one can access. They have assured me that they have another idea and are in the process of forming a plan. “Did they tell what their idea was?” Thomas asks. “No,” I answer. “They didn’t even give you a hint?” Asmoday asks. “Nope,” I answer. That is the truth. They told me once they talked about it and then came up with the plan they would let me know. I just hope it is a good one. They told me that no one has suspected them of anything. I have a feeling that everyone has noticed them watching the girls. However, they have not done anything to them; who could blame them for watching the girls? They are all unbelievably gorgeous. What man wouldn’t watch them
One-Hundred Fifty-Nine: Family Meeting Chris I walk over to the packhouse with a huge smile on my face. It always makes my heart sing when I can tell my sisters what I am about to tell them. I live for these days. Nymyra is with me. She is going to hang with Leah, Daniylla, and the other women who will not have to attend this meeting. “You really do get off on telling your sisters that there is a family meeting, don’t you? She asks me. “It is the highlight of my day. Yes, I do.” I say, smiling. She just shakes her head. She knows how much my sisters detest having to go to our family meetings. They complain and throw a tantrum of epic proportions. It makes me smile to see their irritation. Mom has no idea how they haven’t killed me yet. I can answer that one; they can’t kill me cause I can’t die. “Why do you have that stupid shit-eating grin on your face?” Tye asks. “Oh no, not today,” Jailynn says. “What’s today?” Mykenzie asks. My sisters, Mykayla, and Bryn
One-Hundred Sixty: First Shift Satyira Well, fuck, now what do I do? I am watching the trio of trouble. That is what everyone has nicknamed Jordyn, Xaydyn, and Dominick. I have no idea how three two-year-olds cause so much chaos. Well, if you know their parents, it might explain some of the issues. But that does not explain this. “DRAYDON.” I yell. I really don’t know who else to call. Plus, I know he isn’t far from me. He never is. “Yes, you yelled my sweet little fae.” He says to me. He stops and stares as soon as he enters the room. I know this was not what he expected when I yelled for him. Well, I am sure he was expecting it to have something to do with these three. “When did this happen?” He asks. “Just now. They were playing and I watched as they all three shifted. They didn’t even cry.” She says. “Ok well pick up one and I’ll grab the other two and bring them down to the rec room. Everyone is down there.” He tells me. I grab Jordyn and Dominick and he
One-Hundred Sixty-One: Controlling the Pups Dustin I am leaning back in the chair at work. The last two days have been an eye-opener. I am sure my mind shut down when Satyira and Draydon walked in and set down three little wolf pups. Luckily I was not the only one that was rendered mute. The room went dead silent. I couldn’t take my eyes off the three pups. I couldn’t look away from the three of them. “You ok Alpha?” Mykayla whispers in my ear. She plops down onto my lap, and I smile. I open my eyes as she gets up and walks to the other side of my desk. A frown spreads across my face. Why'd she get up? “Why’d you get up?” I ask. She looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I see a smirk on her face. I am not sure if that smirk is a good thing or not. I am not sure if I should be worried or not. She puts a file down on my desk, and I look at it. “Remember you’re going to meet with the architect with the designs of the new packhouse and cottages.” She says. “That’s ri
One-Hundred Sixty-Two: Construction Time Haze I am not sure how I got stuck on babysitting duty. Luckily I wasn’t the only one. Blain, Reecie, and Rye were also assigned babysitting duties. This, however, was not your typical babysitting job. I had to laugh when Dustin told us what he needed us to do. I knew why Rye and Reecie were given this task. I am not sure why he thought Blain and I would be able to help if shit hit the fan, but here we are. “What gave Dustin the idea that Blain and I can do anything if shit happens?” I ask. “Chris said that you two would be able,” Rye says. “I am glad Chris has faith in us,” I state. “Dustin asked Chris who would be able to help calm shit down if needed. Besides Reecie and Kaleb, who has to work, for some reason, you and Blain can defuse a situation with them. Listen we have watched over the years and observed who can control these two to an extent. For some reason, you and Blain can break through that fog of anger when they get
One-Hundred Sixty-Three: Concocting the Plan Unknown I have been observing the ranking and important members of the pack for two weeks now. We had been here for close to two months, but after I had this plan pop into my mind, I had only started my exact observation two weeks ago. I knew what Darrius and Asmoday had originally thought, but I knew there was no way to get anyone from the outside in. Not without everyone knowing. I am convinced those three women are witches. The two sisters and Luna have to have witch blood in them. They are able to use magic or something like I have never seen. I have not been around many witches, but the few I have did not have magic that even comes close to this. “So are we close to putting your plan into action?” My cousin asks. “Yes, we are closer. It is going to come down to timing.” I explain. They both nod in agreement. I just have to figure out how to get those damn huge beasts away for us to get enough time to pull this off. Tha
One-Hundred Sixty-Four: On-Going Construction Kaleb Dustin, Nate, and I are here checking out how all the construction is going. So far, everything is looking good. The new packhouse is half done. A few of the houses are built, and the girls are busy with all the exterior and interior decorating. The recreation building will start after the packhouse is done. The two new pools and the place for the animals to get in are half done as well. Everything is actually going well. “The most amazing news about all this is that no one has pissed off the girls. Well, no one knew.” Dustin says. “That is always a good thing,” Nate adds. I am glad that Dustin had the construction and architect company that is part of the girl's family do all this. From what Rye and Haze have said, there have been some minor disagreements, but obviously, nothing that resulted in injury or death. This is always a good thing. The three of us walk into the new packhouse to check it out. The girls starte
