CALISTA POV

Barely had I been able to complete that thought when suddenly Alpha Grayson pointed out that his phone was ringing and Leon immediately picked it up, excusing himself.

As he was returning back he had the most apologetic expression that had ever seen on any man's face when he said; "I'm really sorry, there's been an emergency at the hospital and I'm needed there,"

I felt like a balloon that had been punctured by a needle and my chest visibly fell, however, I didn't allow the same to happen to my smile.

"Well if it's an emergency and you are the only one skilled enough to deal with it then you should be going ahead we can have other dates it's no big deal,"
