Arthur's POV

When I am out of Quin's house, my phone rings. It's Queen Mother, which is odd because she never calls, and I mean ever.

I pick it up and I don't say a word.

"Where are you?" she queues.

"In the city," I state.

"Come back, you need to pack and go back."

"what do you mean?" I get to the car and enter the passager seat, and without a spoken word, Sabre starts driving. He drove us as Ares was not very keen on letting Quin leave alone.

So I was holding her, hoping that our mate bond was strong enough to wake her up. It didn't of course, and that made me freak out more than Ares.

When I got her back, I was glad when I saw her wake up, and it begs the question, how much energy did Echo need to wake up?

"It's a long story, just get home, I will be waiting for you." she ends the call, and I don't particularly like the fact that she had to come to me to tell me what is going on.
