Hours later in the night, I was in my room standing before my mirror. It was barely thirty-three minutes since we returned from the office. My whole body was aching. Sitting for that long was never my thing. But above all that, there was a more serious thing on my mind.

That had to be the mark of the Alpha. I had taken my shirt off. In just a singlet, I could see the area of my shoulder where he had bitten me. It was gruesome back then.
