Britney's POV

The fire that happened yesterday was one thing. However, the look on his face was another. I had been staring at Logan for close to an hour now, and he had been staring at a blank space.

"Logan?" I called with sadness in my voice. I knew I wanted Reena to be out of the way, but seeing him like this was devastating.

"This is all my fault. She's nowhere to be found, she and Caleb!" He banged his hands on the window, and I rushed to grab his hands. However, there was no connection like before. It seemed like all I had for him was nothing but mere illusions.

"I'll find her, I'll do whatever it takes!" He roared like a wounded lion, his eyes pierced into mine, showing how raged he was.

I had seen this part of him before. This was the part of him that showed when he lost Tessa.
