Clarissa

A scream tore through the silent sky, and soon howls and guttural cries began to ring in my ears.

My home was under attack!

And, I wanted to help my family. I grit my teeth and slowly got up as I forced myself to not fall asleep.

I was losing a lot of blood but once I met my family I would be fine. Clutching my stomach, I walked ahead and slowly made my way towards home.

I could hear the transformation of a hundred different people as I heard the unmistakable noise of fabric ripping apart, of guns firing, and of swords clashing.

My heart ached, worrying about all the people who were here, including Dacre. He was a warrior and definitely would not need my help, but I was still worried about him.

Stars were swimming in front of my eyes as I tried to focus on the fence and the decorative lights put up by my aunt.

They must all be fighting. As I slowly reached the fence, I saw what I had been dreading.
