CHAPTER 126: BONDED EVEN IN CHAOS.

Lana tossed and turned in bed, unable to find a comfortable position. The pain in her stomach had subsided, but her mind was still racing, and sleep seemed elusive.

She decided to get up and take a walk around. As she walked past Kamala's room, she heard the sound of muffled sobs coming from inside.

Lana hesitated for a moment, unsure if she should go in. But the sound of her tears was too much to bear, and she pushed the door open gently.

Inside, Kamala was hunched over on her bed, her shoulders shaking with each sob. Lana's heart broke at the sight of her friend's pain.

“Oh, Kamala,” she said softly, her voice filled with sympathy. “I'm so sorry.”

Kamala looked up at her, her eyes red and puffy. “Lana,” she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you.”

Lana shook her head, her heart heavy. “You don't need to apologize,” she said. “I just wish I could do something to help.”

Kamala let out a bitter laugh, her tears flowing freely once again
