Chapter 3: The Execution

Anastasia's POV

The warriors started holding me on both sides like they didn't want me to escape. Tears fell to my eyes upon hearing the word executed from them. I didn't want to die because I still have many things to achieve in life. 

“Please, I'm begging the both of you to give me a chance. I don't want to die this early and believe me, it's not my mere intention to enter the border of this pack.” The Alpha and the Luna stared at each other first before they turned their heads in my direction.

I'm certain that this would be the time of my execution as per what the Alpha declared earlier. Their warriors are now preparing for my execution and thinking about that, gives me so much anxiety. 

“You can't do anything to change our decision, Lady.” The Luna mumbled, and I can't stop crying. This is maybe the end of my life and I can't do anything to stop my death. I didn't die in the hands of my evil mother but the hands of the Alpha and the Luna. My mother is right. They are ruthless and never feel mercy, regardless of what's really behind it. 

“Then if I can't change your minds, I will accept my death. My life was useless, too. I am so tired in life because since then, I experience so much maltreatment from the hands of my mother.” Bitterness filled my heart now. I have nothing I can do to change my destiny. This is my execution day and maybe, I have to accept it. 

“Bring her to the execution room.” The Alpha motioned his men, and they started dragging me to the execution room that the Alpha refer to. I'm scared with my life now. No one will save me from the day of my execution, and all I could do, to accept this fate. 

“You stay here and don't ever try of escaping!” One of the wolf warriors push me inside the cell and luckily, I wasn't able to kiss the floor. They leave me after they made sure that my cell is locked. 

“This will be the end of my life,” I mentioned to myself and buried my face between my knees. My sobs could be heard throughout this place, and never care if they can hear me. It seems that I have regretted running away earlier. 

Minutes later, there was a group of slaves walking near my dungeon with food in their hands. I got up and start walking near the door of the dungeon. 

"Please, help me. I wanted to get in here." Tears began falling to my eyes again as I beg the slaves for helping me but they just stared at each other and did not reply to me. They opened the dungeon then what stunned me, I thought they would offer me properly the foods they were holding but they throw it to the ground. 

"Here, you can start eating those foods with your tongue." One of them muttered and they even laugh at me which makes me cry. After they did that to me, they already left away in my direction. That's when I started crying again because of what they did. Minutes had already passed again when someone arrived at my cell which makes me lift my head and saw the palace guards.

“Hey, get up. The Alpha and the Luna wanted to talk to you.” Someone calls my attention and which made me lift my head. The warriors returned in here and my heart thumped so fast inside my chest. I'm certain that sooner, or later, my execution will be done. 

Dying was my fate and, maybe, it's better this way. I have been in so much pain ever since, in the hands of my mother. Dying will maybe my destiny, and I can't do anything to change it. The warriors drag me again from the cell while my heart still pumps so fast inside my chest. I am so nervous about how they will execute me. 

“Alpha and Luna, here she is.” The warriors uttered and even push me. I fell to the ground and was about to get up when the Luna spoke all of a sudden which shock me. 

“Please be careful. Don't push her.” She mumbled towards the warriors and I can't believe it. 

“Apologies, Luna.” They chorus together asking for an apology from her. The Luna helped me from getting up to the ground and something familiar to me when her skin parted against mine.

“Don't you know that, as a rogue, you should be executed?” The Alpha speaks, and my gaze turned to him. I swallowed my saliva from what the Alpha had uttered. “On the other side, there is something with you which change our minds, Lady.” He continued and my mouth was agape in shock. 

“I… I don't know about that, and I am sorry if I'm just a rogue, Alpha." The Luna pressed my hand like she was trying to comfort me and I appreciate it. 

“Somehow, your Luna and I made up our minds to spare you with the supposed execution, but on one condition.” The Alpha uttered that lightened up my mood. I can't believe what he said, and it was as if I was only hallucinating. 

“W…what is the condition, Alpha?” I asked him. The Luna moved to the Alpha, and they are now standing in front of me.

“Our condition will be…” The Luna paused her sentence first, that scares me. “You will become our daughter's slave.” She added, and a smile curled on my lips. This is not bad, perhaps, it will be an honor to become the slave of the Alpha and Luna's daughter. With no hesitations, I accept the offer.

“I will accept it, Luna and Alpha, for giving me another chance.” They both smiled at what I uttered towards them. 

“That's great and, maybe, you can start working today. We will guide you to your room near my daughter's room. Please take good care of her.” The Luna uttered, and their child must be lucky because they are her parents. I was wrong with my intention to them. They are not bad, and my mother was wrong. Well, why would I still believe her when she's always maltreating me? 

“Thank you so much, Alpha and Luna, for this opportunity. I pledge to do my job well for being the slave of your daughter.” They nodded their heads towards me upon stating those words. 

“This would be an agreement between you and between us. We saved you from being executed, and you will serve our daughter.” The Alpha uttered, and I nodded my head to him. I will accept this arrangement because foremost, I have nowhere to go. It will be an honor to become the slave of the Alpha's daughter. 

“Honestly, one reason that we gave you a chance was that… We felt intimacy towards you. There is something within you that caught us.” I was shocked by the Luna's words, and it seemed unbelievable to hear.
