Adrian M Knox

Adrian’s arms grew numb; there was no flattering way to ask the pregnant woman lying on his arms to move because his arm was now officially dead; she looked too peaceful for that.

The idea of normalcy with Ruby had always eluded him, but the dinner had been nice. The only issue was that he wanted more afterwards; he always wanted more from her afterwards...but she fell asleep as soon as she placed her head on his chest.

It was the same last time; she would always press her nose to his sternum, inhale him, then cling to him as if she were drowning and he was her raft before her eyes would shut and her breathing would deepen.

It was both adorable and frustrating, frustrating because this would be the third night we had masturbated near her slumbering body—at some point, he began to convince himself he was not a pervert.

Then again, he wasn't sure if she would have wanted to sleep with him all too often, considering they went to the hospital a week ago, but... it's been a w

Adrian M. Knox.Lie?What did she mean by ‘lie’? Has she already decided on his affair? That’s- that’s not fair; he did his best to resist Elaine."I didn't do anything, Alba. I only sent her to a hotel and used a cab to come back home.”She nodded and, without a word, turned away from him.“Wait…wait!”His hand reached for her, tugging her back to him; thankfully, she did not fight her crash into his arms, but despite how much he tried to turn her to face him, she only offered her back.“Say something! Anything?”He pleaded.Did she believe it? Did she assume his words were a lie and that not pressing the issue would be best? What? Why the hell was she so difficult to communicate with? And why? Why couldn't he smell her? he was inches from her, so how come her scent was missing? How come the only thing stuck in his nostrils were hints of roses and vodka that hummed even in his veins, keeping his mind solely on Elaine?"You only sent her to a hotel? ‘Only’?”“Yes.”He answered.“So, I

This was the goddamn ‘Clive’ he married.“Why the hell are you so angry when I did nothing?”He asked, no yelled—this wasn’t how their conversation was supposed to go. How could communication fail so miserably?“This isn’t me angry, I mean, yes, perhaps a little, but I am also relieved that you didn’t bring her here.”“Am I that untrustworthy?”He asked, but she didn’t answer. He felt his shoulders deflate and his spirit diminish.“Ruby, am I that untrustworthy?”He asked again in a voice that sounded too smal

As if his argument with Ruby had not been bad enough his mind permitted him to dream of Elaine, dream of ravishing her, and the guilt consumed him.He was a married man; shouldn’t his subconscious mind also remain faithful? He sighed into his hands.“I do not even want her in this building.”He uttered again to his secretary as if his rejection did not make them suspect him anymore. He did not want Ruby to pull away, and he did not want to be Elaine’s mate.Elaine deserved better than a potential divorcee, better than to have to fight for a married man…better than him, she deserved better than him.She was supposed to be his kid sister

"Let me go! Let me go. I want to see Muaas! I want to see my mate!"Elaine persists, throwing her arms around only for them to get arrested once more."Elaine!"The head maid calls as she rushes across the hall, stilling her fuss as surprise overcomes her face.“Benny…”Elaine whispers, perhaps the maid’s name, before the maid winks to her, then bows to me."Please allow me to escort her outside; I have known her since she was a child; if two grown men carry her this roughly, then she could be traumatised-”"The head maid too, take her with you. She is fired."My turn to the surprised maid from the security personnel is quick."You are fired.""The Alpha would never permit this!"Her yell is fast, but not faster than the men’s split, so that one handles Elaine and the other grabs her by her arm.The nearby maids, enjoying the loud drama unfolding in the halls, thanks to Elaine’s hysterics, begin to snicker and whisper amongst themselves."Anyone else wants to lose their jobs today?"M

Dead...died, as in I died again? As in, I prevented nothing? As in, I basically went back in time and played house with the same man who abandoned me?A smile that tastes numb crosses my face."Did you not hear my question, Ruby?"My gaze travels slowly to the man at the door; he looks different from the one who had been in my bed a few nights ago. It is the birthday that changed him, isn’t it? My nod is slow; I am not accepting anything, but I cannot stop my neck from tilting up and down. The ringing in my ears does not permit concrete thoughts to form in my mind. For the first time in my life, the clarity of not being able to change anything feels palpable."And...how accurate are your premo-""They have never failed."The queen answers before I pose my question."Are you ignoring me?"The Alpha asks with an irritated sigh when I still do not respond to him; the numbness in my chest minimises the impact of his burst into the room dripping in animosity."Of course, you are here, Your

A laugh almost escapes me, but the bitterness swirling in my chest makes me fear that I might cry instead should I voice my pain. So, my gaze remains on him; I do not dare blink in case tears dare escape me.It hurts; it shouldn’t hurt to hear these words from him, but Christ, it feels as if my heart has imploded in my chest. It must be my hormones making me feel this way; it must be otherwise…otherwise…Christ, it's almost as though I believed him when he said he cared. I didn’t, but it’s almost as if I did."Elaine will spend the week…”Christ, he is still talking about Elaine. His mouth still calls her name as if… “…Sunday for school, where she will stay until her official graduation. I won't sleep with her, Ruby. Just trust me."He continues but, I am not sure what I have missed, I am uncertain of what he has uttered beyond his threats and…I do not want to take in more of what he wants to say in case he takes them back later."And..."A sigh escapes me, I hate its tremble.I am a

Adrian M Knox "Muaas." Elaine drawled his name as if it offered her life. Each time she purred his name, she took a step toward him. In his head, he took an equal one back, but...in reality, he hadn't moved. "Don't." He meant the words as a command, but again, they failed him. "Muaas...please, I'm burning..." The blood rushing in his veins turned furious; even his heart felt as if it would leap out of him. Her scent burned his skin, and the veins on his temple hummed. He wanted to pounce on her. But he couldn’t. He would- Before the promise even formed in his mind, his hand reached for her; it was pure instinct, one she did not resist—not that he would let her resist him. Christ, she was cold to the touch, just the temperature his skin craved. But, If holding her felt this good, what about tasting her? What would she taste like? Grapes? Chocolate? Roses? He did not much care for flowers, but he loved the scent of roses in the crisp winter because that was what the training

Hi! That’s a wrap for ‘The Alpha’s Ruby Obsession’; it has been the wildest ride yet. On matters pertaining to bonuses, they will not always be guaranteed a happy ending or to give a sense of closure. Additionally, going forward, not all stories will have bonuses. On to the main matter: I want a light book for my next project, something that doesn’t make me teary while writing and also, I want to leave the woods for the big city for a while, so I thought, why not get high blood pressure and delve into the world of greedy mother-in-laws and audacious husbands in My next book, a billionaire romance, ‘Trillionaire After Divorce’. It should be out by January if all factors are cooperative; it will not be as tragic as this one, but it will still have some darkness...and tons of romantic angst. I’ll tell you this in advance: be ready to throw hands at audacities! As usual, it will be 18+; whatever will I do without smut? As always, thank you for reading, and hopefully, I will see you in

** Ruby. "Last step. Just jump. I will catch you." I whisper to Elle, who throws her little arms around my shoulders as she takes her leap of faith gracefully. "Good girl." I praise her quickly before placing her on the ground and holding her hand so we can run across the empty street. It was not in any of my plans to use the window at one a.m., essentially alerting my little sister, Elle, of something going wrong, but I had no choice; Dominic had his men surround my apartment, so if I stayed, I would be forced to sleep with men, now that I have been injected contraceptives on his coin already. After helping Elle in the car waiting for us, I hop in the passenger seat before Wanda drives off. “Thanks, Wanda.” I utter finally as we enter the main road. “Baby, this is stupid; you know Dom will never let you go.” "He will if you seduce him for me. " I utter softly, and her light and refreshing laugh lighten the mood in the car. “Open the glove box.” I do as she asks, but insi

Adrian "That's the girl." Adrian's gaze lifted in the direction his friend pointed. "The number one of business school." It didn't irk him as much as Leon, his best friend, meant for it to; after all, numbers meant nothing to him unless they were in the form of currency and had never found a soul wealthier than his family, even in the university. In fact, it didn't matter so much that he wanted to walk to her and invite her to his group, scholarship or not; she earned the right to associate with him, at least within the confines of the school. "Tell her to join us. No, tell her that she can be sitting with us instead of alone." He ushered Elaine; she was something of a kid sister to him. "What? Why? She is poor; I highly doubt that she can purchase from our section; you’ll just make her feel bad." "She stole my spot in the school, so I want everyone to know she earned the right to sit with us. Plus, we can buy her food if she can’t afford it." The notion made little sense to

The last Chapter of the Bonus will be tomorrow. ** “I didn’t ask you to protect me! I wasn’t in danger.” His sneer rises, and I wince, anticipating another slap, but instead, he clicks his tongue. “You will need to visit a family planning establishment to get your affairs in order; if you are going to start taking in men, then-” “I will get you the money!” “By tomorrow? Because your debt just went up by eight hundred thousand.” “I didn’t ask you to interrupt. Don’t give the refund let me go out there and-.” Dominic’s hand rises, and I flinch before the sound of his tongue clicking against the roof of his mouth echoes once again. “I will give you the day off tomorrow, but Maurice will escort you to the family planning centre. I’ll show you an easy way to pay me back if you are in such a rush to escape me. Now, take that coat off. You look stupid wearing it.” "Will I look more dignified to the men you intend to whore me out to?" Dominic winces, but his expression does not soft

Hi! Quick disclaimer: The bonus stories are not guaranteed a happy or ‘closure-inducing’ ending. Please read at your own risk. Adrian’s hands waste no time lowering to my ass to part my flesh apart. "You are not permitted to touch-" “‘Touch the stripper’? I know, but can't you take it as me making your work easier? I am doing you a favour.” “I highly doubt a yeast infection counts as a favour. Either lower your pants because your boxers are certainly cleaner to press against, or let me do my dance in peace.” His hot breath coats my ear as he chuckles. His hands leave my ass to fiddle with his belt and lower his zip, but mother of Christ, why are his knuckles grazing against my centre while he does this? I am certain I have lifted my hips enough for there to be no contact between us. The feel of his fingers hooking upward tells me that his actions are on purpose. But before I can protest, his fingers leave my centre, and instead, his hips thrust upwards on my bare and sensitive

“Hand me the tape, Joy.” I ask as I hold the last box in place before the garments pop out. “Just a second! Elle, don’t run with scissors!” Elle’s laughter sounds across the hall, making it exceedingly clear that there will be no assistance any time soon. With a sigh, I consider letting the box’s contents explode open, but in the nick of time, a tape gun is pressed on my shoulder. “Oh, thank God. Tape it for me; my arms are holding… the box…closed.” I drawl as surprise takes over my body, causing my grip on the box to lessen such that its contents spill out. “...Adrian?” I call as I stand, ignoring the mess I made. "So, you were going to leave." He utters as if he were merely seeking my confirmation on the matter. "Adrian.” I call with a sigh before looking for the best choice of words. “What are you doing here? We talked about-" "You were going to abandon me again?" The loudness in his voice jostles me. There is a certainty in which he asks his question that leaves me

Ruby M. Clive ‘This was fun.’ The words play again in my mind before the fatigue I convinced myself was the sex finds me. "Fun." I toy with the word again before looking at my reflection in the mirror. The makeup hid the puffiness of my face well, but the redness remained regardless of the amount of concealer used. My legs feel weak, so I let my flesh crumble to the ground as more tears overcome me. I hate how easily I cry these days, but more than that, I hate the delight that found me when his wolf recognised me. He fell asleep with his length inside me, and I couldn’t pull it out; even now, I can still feel his shape inside me. My gaze lingers on the gauze on my hand; beneath it lies his teeth marks that ooze the scent of the ocean despite the amount of time I rinsed the wound. I don’t get it; no one has ever recalled the past in my presence before, so how could he? It makes sense for his wolf to remember me; we were mates, but not him, his hatred for Clives should prevent

A groan found Adrian’s lips with ease when his hands stroking the space next to him confirmed that it was cold, meaning she had left quite a while ago.His canines tasted of blood; did he bite himself?“Fuck! That’s so embarrassing!”He cursed, recalling how desperately he begged her to tell him who the man she loved was and how easily she drew a line with him. He didn't want to wake up; the bed wasn’t even his, but he didn’t want to leave it because the moment he did, he would have to face the consequences of the deal they had made—never seeing her again. But was the deal still in effect if she wasn’t there like she promised to be?"Oh, you are up-"Ruby said as the bathroom door opened, and he took in her glowing sight that was emphasised by the steam from the hot shower. She looked fresh and clean but also dressed up. She had on her robe and a full face of makeup, all while her hair remained wrap

Adrian watched Ruby’s flesh devour his hard shaft slowly; she only used her hands to steady his length inside her.If he were any more dazed, he would shove himself inside her, but she was far too tight for such an act not to cause her discomfort, so his teeth found his lip in search of patience before he spoke.“Are you okay?”He asked when the shadow of a wince crossed her face; his member wasn’t even halfway through. It was quite the awkward question to ask, considering that he was her source of discomfort, so while a part of him prayed that she wouldn’t back out, the other prepared for what felt inevitable.“Yes…yes, I just need a moment.”She uttered.“Are you sure? We could stop-”“I am certain.”She said with a laugh that once again undid him; how did she do that? How did she captivate him with such ease? His eyes fell on her large breasts that seemed to spill on her chest before returning to her eyes.Who was he?Who was the one man who had seen her in this way?He was clearly
