“Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I lost my footing and stumbled. I didn’t mean to, I swear! I just got excited to see Maddie before school, but I’m really clumsy and fall a lot.” She stammers quickly, looking from Tyson to me and back again.

“It’s okay sweetie. We’re both okay.” I tell her as Tyson gently lets her go.

“Mama, this is Jessica. Jessica, this is my Mama, Rose.” Maddie beams at me, excited to introduce her friend.

“Oh! This is Jessica? Hi, I am so happy to meet you. We will have to have you over for a sleepover sometime,” I tell her and both Jessica and Maddie’s faces light up at the idea.

“That would be so awesome!! I’ve never been to a sleepover,” Jessica says as Maddie squeals. Oh my! Girls and their squealing. They are both practically bouncing out of their shoes.

“Have your mom call me or text me and we’ll get it set up,” I tell her laughing at them both.

“I will!”

“I’ll send your contact info to Jessica so she can pass it to her mom.” Maddie says, being helpful. She
