Ezra ran through the corridor to the front door, where a black cloud of ravens swirled around the space. Ezekiel was a half step behind her, following her with the same worried face.
They arrived at the front door and instantly saw a man in a black fur coat standing there.
"Your Highness!" Ezra called.
The second the man heard her voice, he turned back. His face was distraught, painted in anger and pain that shocked Ezekiel.
Ezra walked even faster toward him, and that was when Ezekiel momentarily froze in his step. Heinrich's face melted when he saw Ezra, and the man approached the woman who was walking toward him fast and embraced her tight.
"Eira..." Heinrich burrowed his face into Ezra's neck, surprising even Ezra.
"What happened...? Are you okay?" Ezra was even more worried. Something terrible must have happened to him.
The man didn'
It was the morning before the full moon when Harriet opened her eyes. The weather was cold, but her body was covered in layers of blankets and fur coats. She wondered where it came from. The small shack was in shambles. The old bed frame and the table broke. Harriet was lying on top of a bedding Liam took from the top of the bed. She guessed that the man had left for the nearby town to buy her more necessities."Hmm..."Harriet turned her head to the other side of the room. She saw Liam sitting in front of the fireplace, wearing another fur coat on his shoulder. He was peeling some apples."Good morning," the man said in a hoarse voice.Harriet pulled herself up but immediately realized how sore her body was. "Woah..."When was the last time her body felt this sore?Maybe never..."Good... morning
THUMP THUMP THUMPThe animals around the woods started to cower in fear as they heard the sound of those heavy strides. It was not subtle as it began to sound closer and closer at that sunset.THUMP! CRACK!An enormous paw of a giant white wolf stomped on a rock and cracked it instantly.[Ah, shit. That stone was a famous signpost the merchant and mercenaries used to navigate their road. I cracked it...]"Huh? Really?" Harriet blinked. She knew this road quite well and had never heard of that kind of signpost."Wait, but nowadays, people use various tools to navigate anyways. The famous signpost I know is a bit far from here, and the road is much more developed there. So I think you shouldn't worry about that, Milord," she explained.[What? Oh, so now everyone uses compasses? Right, they're much cheaper now than years ago. Now I see why e
Just a moment after the Duke and Duchess couple left, a man with a long sword stood on the road they had just passed. He looked far into the distance, into the darkness of the road.He smiled, thin and soft."You're so big already."***The Almandine Castle was drowned in anxiety. Tonight was the full moon, and all the Lycans across the land prayed for their Alpha and Luna.Old Duke was carrying Niamh. She looked calm, and her crystal-like eyes looked bright with no ripples showing."Are you not sleepy, my child?" he asked softly. The baby girl reached up, touched his beard, and played with it for a bit.Old Duke smiled and chuckled in his deep and warm voice. Then, he asked, "Are you worried about your parents?""Don't worry. They'll be fine," he whispered. It was when he hea
Harriet finished her bath that night at half past eleven. She felt her waist and realized that Liam might've never truly let himself go in seeking pleasure in their sex. That was why their intimate session always ended up with Liam begging for more.Maybe, it was not that he purposefully held himself. Perhaps it was because he instinctively knew that Harriet was not his mate and he shouldn't be harsh to her.Or, it was just because the man had become even stronger now that his libido became harder to satiate. In contrast with now, after they were connected, Harriet found it easier for Liam to reach his climax. It was the same case for her. There was almost no pain, and even if there was, it was the kind of pain she wanted to feel more because of the rewarding pleasure afterward. She wiped her body with the towel and walked upstairs toward their room. When she walked in, she saw her husband on the bed
"Sister!"Harriet turned back, seeing Miriam running at her at full speed.BUMP! SQUEEZE!Miriam hugged her body tight."Oof...!" Harriet put one of her legs to hold them, stopping them from falling. She laughed. "Miriam!"As Miriam let go of her embrace, Ezra walked closer, taking turns in hugging Harriet. Their laughs echoed brightly in that corridor."You made it!"Harriet smiled at Ezra and Miriam's excited squeals. Then, she took them, walking towards her room to meet her twins. That day, she was done with work on her first day returning to it.Now that Liam had recovered and now that everything was settled, Harriet told everyone that she was ready to take over the Old Duke's responsibility again. But on her first day, surprisingly, not much could be done.It could also be because Daniel purp
"How do I get up?" Ezra asked.Ezekiel glanced at Ezra with his suppressed smile. Average noblewomen should be able to do basic riding. But Ezra was truly never equipped to do that since childhood."Put your foot here carefully," the man said, pointing at the stirrup.Ezra blinked at him. She was a bit shy to ask where she should put her hands to hold on. She ended up asking, "Umm, and how can I pull myself up?""Hold on to this, and I'll help you up," Ezekiel said calmly.Ezra held into the saddle's horn, just like Ezekiel told her, then she secured her foot up into the stirrup. When she looked ready, Ezekiel held her waist and lifted her up the saddle.'God, her waist is so small...' Ezekiel secretly swallowed."Kyaa!"They heard a woman's small squeal behind them and saw how easily Heath lifted Miriam's small body
Once, Ezekiel saw Harriet trying to calm an angry wild stallion. At the time, she wore a very glamorous dress and walked straight into the field in high heels. Yet, her posture didn't change. Her face and eyes were still flat like a calm lake. She didn't even raise her hands and just walked. She walked confidently closer to the stallion, staring straight into his eyes. And when she finally came close, she would pull the rein gently and firmly."She did so not only to assert dominance. She was approaching the wild stallion in respect and due reverence, causing the stallion to recoil away from conflict," Ezekiel explained. His words made Miriam and Ezra furrow their brows, listening solemnly."The horses she mounted had never instantly recognized her as their master. So every time she mounts a horse, it would always be a fight," Heath said.As both men told the
A hot spring resort was available for booking in the western part of Almandine City. But, the people who wanted to reserve it would have to wait a few days as the place was very famous and full at all times. On day one Ezekiel and Ezra came to the northern region, he told his aides to reserve the whole famous place for him and his wife. But the resort owner refused to let an individual reserve the entire site for themselves. Even if it was for a high noble or even the Emperor.Well, Ezekiel could only give in since it was the resort's policy. But, his aides had already informed the resort managers that there would be a lot of security adjustments for the Crown Prince and Crown Princess safety. They agreed."We don't have to be very strict about it, actually, since the north is full of Lycans anyways," Ezekiel said. "I heard even the resort owner is also a Lycan.""Yes, Your Highn
