My heart pounded in my chest as I turned to face Draco, his eyes now consumed by a bottomless void of darkness. Fear gripped me, for I knew what this meant - his insatiable thirst for blood had taken hold of him. Every fiber of my being screamed at me to run, to escape the imminent danger that lurked within the once gentle soul of the man that just saved me.

My heart raced wildly as I recalled the legends and myths surrounding vampires, their eyes turning black in the throes of bloodlust.

My breath caught in my throat as I stumbled backward, my eyes never leaving Draco's advancing form. A sharp pain shot through my elbow as a thorn pricked my skin, drawing forth a small but significant drop of blood.

The metallic scent filled the air, and I could feel Draco's craving intensify, his gaze fixed on the crimson droplets. Panic surged within me, knowing that the scent of my blood would only heighten Draco's craving. I needed to escape, to find safety before it was too late.
