Call me crazy, but since settling inside the room I chose, I could barely rest. All thought narrows to her. Sophia Crane. The medical team had declared her fine. But how was she faring?

Each time I hear a grumbling sound, I delve straight to the wall, hoping I'd hear anything, something I couldn't think of. But just a clue. A clue of something I couldn't place? I don't even know what I want. How sane am I?

One minute I was present in my room, pacing from one end to another, the next, I found myself at her door.

"Do it!" Ares ordered. My hands were shaky, but I knew I had to because I needed to stop this madness of pacing around. I couldn't tell what's wrong with me, but it was like she was a drug to calm my nerves.

"Do I have to remind you that there's Violet?" I queried him, wondering why he would choose to be concerned for Sophia Crane instead of his mate.

"And do I have to remind you that Sophia Crane is suspicious? There's something about her that drives us insane. You can feel it
