BAELAI was done having a dip in the pond after a few times. I was refreshed and ready to step out. Everywhere was peaceful and quiet as expected and I stepped out of the pond with the water dripping from my body. My towel was handy where I had placed it and I quickly grabbed it on top of Alpha Abbadon's towel and dried myself clean. There was still nobody in sight as I wore my clothes carefully back on. Alpha Abbadon was still at the bend as promised, he hadn't even shown his face even once to check up on me, giving me the privacy he promised. Now it was my turn to see how he was doing as I moved to where he was. He heard my footstep approaching as he came out from the the corner."You are done!" He said happily seeing how clean I was. I know I looked good also with my wet hair falling on my shoulders."Yes I am. I didn't take so long not to keep you waiting over here!" I said teasing him back in good spirit. I still wanted him to tell me with his own lips what he was doing hiding
BAELAAlpha Abbadon and I were back in the company of the other Beta's. It was no longer a surprise to them seeing how fond he had become of me. It seemed Alpha Abbadon and I were the only ones denying the obvious as we refused to come to terms with our new reality. I had my reasons though, I was following out Aria perfectly laid out plans and so far so good it was working.Aria's plan had led us around the long route to avoid detection from a populous werewolf city. It was still some ours to midday but it seemed we had run into trouble.Far away from the city, we heard the alarm bells ringing. Actually Aria heard it ringing. I couldn't because it was far away. I was about to draw it to the notice of Alpha Abbadon, when he asked me in a hush tone."Listen, can you hear that?" He whispered. The other Beta's listened as well, trying to pick out what he had detected."Yes I can. That is a bell ring, an alarm bells from the werewolf city!" I said alarmed myself. I words seemed to confirm
BAELATonight the camp was less merry than it was yesterday but was still happy. It had been a successful day by all account although we were now less than a day's journey from this werewolf pack. Alpha Abbadon had concluded with all the Beta's that he and a selected few were going to keep watch over the camp tonight, to give us an extra pair of eyes and ears as I was allowed to spend the night in camp.Alpha Abbadon trusted my word that this was a safe place to camp for tonight but as an extra precautionary measure which I was against he was going to go out and scout with a few others. The only downside was I was going to miss his company even though I would not say that to his face. I watched as Alpha Abbadon and the five Beta's he had selected left the camp with him. They were going far away outside the perimeters if our camp in search of scent trails of our werewolves close by. The camp fire was lit to still keep me warm since we were not in any immediate danger. Seated around
BAELAI watched the flames glow brightly with every stick I added into it. It was keeping me up until I was ready to sleep. I had Aria with floating gently in the air. I had ensured all the Beta's had gone to their tents and it was just the two of us left alone."Aria, can I ask you a question?" I whispered as I looked up at her. She was so graceful on the air, she was a beauty to behold."Yes Baela, you can ask me anything. Ask away". Aria said. She was willing to entertain my question without reservation. That was all I wanted from her."I know you have been right about a lot of things and I trust you like I trust myself but is there no other way to win Alpha Abbadon's affection unless I go to the ends of the world?" I asked.I kept mute to hear her response afterwards. Beta Red's offer was now slowly starting to get to me."Baela, I am confident to tell yes, it is the only way". "I believe you want his Love, then you going to the ends of the world is the only way he gets to show y
BAELAI could see Alpha Abbadon staring at me with searching eyes. He was trying to know if anything was wrong with me or the others of if something tragic was about to happen."Tell me Baela, what is wrong?" He inquired, as he held firmly but gently by my shoulders."It is not what you think, nothing is wrong. I am fine and everyone else is fine but I came out here in search of you". I said. He gave me a second look like what I was saying didn't add up. There was no problem but I came all this way to look for him but he kept it to himself."Then you must have been worried about me. I am doing okay. I was tracking scent trails of other werewolves when I picked up yours". "It didn't make sense at first but I knew it was definitely you. Feared the worst, thought you had been kidnapped again". He revealed, as he seemed to relax a bit."I didn't mean to get you worried. I am sorry if I did". I apologized for acting based on impulse again."It is alright Baela, it is good you came to see
BAELAI was really dying to hear him say how he truly viewed me. I didn't want to hear it from the mouth of a third party but from his mouth directly but he was still hesitant."If I told you, would you turn back this instant and head back with me to Gaiasania?" He asked, putting a condition forward before answering my question. That wasn't fair of course because the question I had asked shouldn't come with a condition. It was simply how he felt about me. I didn't want to assume he was in love with me like the first time, or take what other people had inferred about us, I wanted to hear it straight from the horse's mouth."I feel you telling me how you feel about me as an individual of your pack should be without a condition. You can just tell me". I insisted. Why was it so difficult for him to do?"I can and I have told you that I value all members of my pack equally. I value what they do in the pack and I value want you do in the pack as well. What else do you want to know?" He aske
BAELAI heard the Beta's respond back by howling at Alpha Abbadon. They had all transformed to their werewolves to as they understand the message Alpha Abbadon was trying to pass. We were all now racing back to the camp. Alpha Abbadon got back to camp with I still holding on to his fur on his back firmly. The entire Beta's in the camp were already set to go with they all transformed to their werewolf. Alpha Abbadon didn't need to say anything else as they all joined him and we raced out. I wondered for how long we were going to keep running away from our hunters? I guess I was wrong, I should have let Alpha Abbadon take on the Alpha when he had the chance to take them by surprise but now our cover was blown. I needed Aria to know what next to do."What next?" I whispered looking up, as I held on to Alpha Abbadon back."We find a high ground and we fight back if they refuse to stop pursing us". Alpha Abbadon answered, thinking I was referring to him. From what Alpha Abbadon said, I
BAELAI could see the Alpha walk slowly as it approached the territory it was supposed not to cross. Alpha Abbadon stood firm, quiet, calculative and ready to strike at the shortest notice. He was very lethal if they didn't know it but could he handle a 100 werewolf all by himself? "We have to go back for him. We cannot stay back here and let him fight them off all alone"."We have to do something". I begged Beta Red but he didn't move. I was compelled to do something. I didn't know when I jumped off his back to the ground and yelled at the top of my voice."LEAVE HIM ALONE!" My voice wasn't that loud but it travelled far and echoed in the silent night of the forest. I stopped as I realized what I had done. I had exposed as all to an attack which Alpha Abbadon himself had not wanted.I watched to see what next would happen desperately as Beta Red quickly grabbed me from the ground and placed me on his back. He was ready to move if the need be but the rival werewolf stopped moving.
