“You’re stronger than me.” Ahbaya whispered in disbelief. “How are you stronger than me? You’re an omega, you’re supposed to follow my orders. You're supposed to be weak. I was not demanding you to let me go of me, yet I couldn't push you off me. I was compelling you to — but you were unaffected. And your eyes, the color changed." I stopped on my tracks, wondering what she’s talking about. When I turned to her direction Ahbaya looked so baffled, surprised and in awe. “Even my aura did not have an effect on you.”Her eyes went wide, her head moving left and right as if she was in an inner battle against herself. “Could it be?” I began to pace towards her, curious about what she’s talking about. “Could it be what?” “A long time ago, when the Kingdom of Aensland was still peaceful, when shifters could only bear a single beast within, King Argon forged a stone about mates. The rules, the signs and the celebrations. The first rule is… One wolf mated to the other cannot compel his or h
It had been one long hour since Yael and I sneaked inside the Castle of hybrids. I’d like to tell myself that Yael will come back for me, unchain me from my chains and tell me to run away with him — but that thought had disappeared a few minutes ago. In a blink of an eye, this chaotic Kingdom may be near its end. And the Alphas, the leaders — are like deers caught in headlights. “Find Ahbaya —” Devant screamed like a maniac, his saliva spewing everywhere as he demanded his daughter to be caught. “ —find that insolent brat, and bring the omega to me! Dead or alive!” Everything about that night was chaotic. And I felt like the fight I had against Klaus, the bear king’s son wouldn’t be the cherry on top of my very, very entertaining evening. Everything I had trained for all my life would be redundant from this moment on. Devant pointed at me like I’m some kind of trash to be disposed of. “Grab that traitor and lock her up!” Ah, the majestries of love. Why did my best friend drag me
It was past the holy hours where the tunnel of our escape was wide. Now Ahbaya and I were trying to get out alive in a maze of Rabid Hybrids. Mountains of men covered the doorway, our only escape. Men who were deemed faithful to Ahbaya were locked and cuffed in the underground prison, for Alpha Devant feared a coup would start. She shifted into her bear, and after such a long time, the beast finally told me her name. Krishna. She was ten feet tall, fur as dark and as terrifying as the name bestowed upon her. Sixteen men had us surrounded and Ahbaya had been kicking, punching and pushing them out of our way as if she was merely playing. Her headcount was fifteen, and mine was none. I heard Krishna’s loud growl, her huge paws and sharp claws digging deep on the fur of some poor beta who crossed her way. ‘Watch out!’ She screamed through the link as she tossed an unconscious man just over my head. I managed to duck, gritting my teeth after feeling the man’s hand brush my hair. Phew.
I breathed in the smell of the cold mountain breeze. It was getting dark and the sun had already begun to set. My sweat was dripping as I already transformed back to my human form. I carried Ahbaya all the way here to the South, she was still asleep in my arms. Her head covered with dried up blood was leaning against my chest, and my sweat began to mix with the blood on her forehead. “Where is it…” I breathed out the words, my lungs on fire from running for miles. I needed to drink, and Ahbaya needed to be cleaned. She was still asleep, but I could feel her breath against my chest, that was enough for me to keep myself sane. There was a badger scurrying across the grass and the smell of the flowing water on the muddy road behind me, the comforting scent circled the air. I looked down at Ahbaya and gave her a smile. “We’re almost there, my queen.” It didn’t take long for the sparkling waters of the river to reach my eyes. I was dead tired and was on the brink of exhaustion. I could f
The tall trees swayed from the cold harsh wind, gazelles, rabbits and small critters passed through the dark. Ahbaya and I decided to go to the said meeting place she and Emery had pre-arranged. It was midnight, the time when animals lay down their guard. But with Ahbaya’s presence looming over the terrain, all creatures went into hiding. Hiding on the grass, the trees. Other animals who were ferocious and dangerous enough stood behind the tall tress, hid behind the grass and were prepared to attack. I could feel their eyes on me. I could hear them growling and ready to lay their life to protect the little ones. The debris of everyday life swirled around the forest, and the forest reeked of dead rotting meat. Hunters, butchers and trappers leave the dead and weak behind since Hybrids had a thing for eating fresh, healthy meat. The forest live in a system, and unfortunately for these creatures hybrids and trappers got into the mix and conquered the chain. “Are we there yet?” I aske
Melodias Bluemoon Devant sighed aloud, raising his glass to finish the last of the cognac and drank till the last drop. The half finished cigarette found itself quickly stamped out in the ashtray. Amidst the chaos, I sat idle at a round table, watching with half lidded eyes as the corpse from the Castle of Hybrids got carried out of the humongous wooden gates. Every step the remaining gammas took felt heavy against the bloody ground. 'They killed themselves, they killed themselves', was what the omegas sang. And their eyes were wide and bloodshot as they witnessed Alpha Ahbaya release her aura along with her command. And I… I was facing the wrath of Alpha Devant, the previous king. I fussed on my seat, feeling edgy as the old man in front of me brought a glass of wine in front of me and began to fill the glass half full. Devant’s eyes looked down, wondering when was the last time the Kingdom had experienced such a loss. “Are you not going to drink that, Melodias Bluemoon?” “Sir
Melodias Bluemoon Here I am now sitting beside the woman in black, frowning because she had the audacity to ruin my table top. This mahogany table came from the Southern Kingdom, made by the most skilled craftsman. The Bluemoon crest was carved skillfully in the middle of the table. Now the crest looked like something that came out of a horror movie. “This coffee tastes good.” She said with a smile, as if minutes ago she wasn’t trying to take my life. “Thanks.” The warm liquid kissed her throat, the sweet intoxication of caffeine made her eyes dilate. I let out a sigh after finishing my drink. No more stalling. “What’s your name?” The woman in black smiled after drinking from her cup. “Oh, in a hurry are we?” “You promised me a story.” Was my short answer. “And you promised to tell me the truth, you may start now. Begin by telling me your name.” “It’s Hyacinth.” So her name is Hyacinth, huh. “Hyacinth, like the bird?” She shook her head. “No. Like the flower.” “That’s
Until now I still can't believe that this man is mated to me. "Does it feel good..." He whispered as his tongue continued licking my clit. "...Ahbaya?" I looked down on him. Flustered and feeling a different kind of heat. "Huh?" I swallowed against my dry throat as we stared at each other’s eyes, he was still doing amazing things between my legs. "What?" He gave me one last lick then he smiled at me. His eyes were hinting with mockery. "I said, does it feel good?" I hate it when he teases me like this. I hate him so much that I just want to shove his pretty little head against me so he can shut the fuck up. I didn't answer his question, I just closed my eyes so I couldn't see him. Ever since that fateful day he can read me, can see through me even though I don't want him to. When it comes to him I feel like I’m a kind of person who is easy to read and easy to get to. And I don’t like that. Not a bit. He knows what I want, he knows what I am and he knows that I love him. And in tr
Thank you all to those who have read my story. The journey of Ahbaya, Yael and their child will continue on another book. Spoiler alert - - - as of now, Ahbaya and Yael's journey will continue on along with Accashia and Calleb. (My characters from The Alpha's Touch) whether or not they are going to be destined mates. Rivals. It's still on the works! And I plan to include the Demons from the west in the next story in the Alpha's Touch world. This journey of writing about an Alpha Female had always been a Dreak of mine. And I appreciate those who stayed on their journey with me. I'd also like to share some facts about this story. And how grateful I am to my Editor Jamie Maire for helping me with this story. I hope that one day, Alpha female troupe will trend!
"A ring, are you blind?" Was my sarcastic answer. Damn, Yael’s antics are really starting to infect me. Even his cute wits and sarcasm is sinking deep in my bones, skin and is frighteningly entering my brain. Elija Leon laughed and somehow found it humorous. "I know. I’m not blind, you wretched woman." He pointed at the ring. And took a close look at it. "A bonding ring, perhaps? It looks like one." I pursed my lips together. And somehow became conscious. My other hand unconsciously covered my right hand. An act trying to seal my little secret. With him laughing purposely in front of me implied that he already knows. "You’re acting like a foolish virgin. Far from your control freak demeanor. So... Am I correct?" He took a sip from the mug. "How is he? The man you’ve mated with instead of me." Terrified. "Good. We’re good.." Obviously, I lied. I don't want to talk about this. The curse. Isn't it awkward to talk about my problems with your ex husband to be, not to mention, best frien
Years ago the moon slowly moved over the sun along with Alpha Oliva's death. Its curve formed a dark silhouette that crept across the bright face, moment by moment darkening the sky. Across the landscape, rocks and trees seemed to sharpen as they drifted into this odd darkness. The stark edges of the surroundings became more distinct without the blinding glare of daylight or the fuzzy softness of night. Afraid to look upward, the people all walked with their heads down, shrouded in the long shadow of the moon. The blackness crept over the landscape as it crept over them, invariably seeping one by one into their hearts. Ancient memories rose in them, the darkness brought a foreboding that absorbed their spirit. In the darkness their hearts felt a longing, a loneliness they could not escape. Their empty yards and unlatched gates seem so strange to everyone. The screen doors seemed to ache for a carefree spin out into the daylight. The quiet mornings ground slowly into silent afternoons
I'm walking through the hybrid’s castle. Here and there I look at other reminders of how life's gone on. The sculptures, drawings and pictures have changed. I can't find one with me still in it. The only reminder of my existence was my crown. I stop at the trophy shelf on my way through the throne room. All I see are chairs, remembrances of the past and the chamber which the old Alphas, Kings and Queens used to sleep. None with my name on it. Truth be told I never one anything or really achieved anything. Not nearly as depressing. I start to laugh a little. I walk all through the castle with Yael’s hand in mine, the mood's slightly more upbeat than when I left it. Walls painted, new furniture, nicer things. I make my way to the secret room, my room. All my things are gone, now just a lounge. There's a few sparring rooms here and there. The wall is covered in framed portraits and pictures from my mother and father… and that is all.“It is so obvious how much your father is pissed at y
Hope is a fickle thing. A deadly weapon and a dreadful line to hold onto. That used to be my motto. How fucking naive I was back then. When I was a young girl, I thought of the Kingdom of Aensland as hopeless. It was messy, there would always be a bar fight in town. Young omegas ages to five to twelve would be kidnapped, their organs harvested from their still living bodies and thrown away like a sack of potatoes in the ocean. I had been hopeless even though I had led a powerful army of rabid hybrid savages… and the last drop of hope… of faith in me was shattered when I was told I would remain sterile. Barren. Worthless. Now I cannot say that all hope was lost… because the moon goddess placed a bundle of joy inside my womb. Something that I’ve hoped for… had craved for years. Now comes the hard part. My child isn’t even born… and yet my mate and I are willing ti lay our lives on the line to keep her safe once she’s here in this cruel world. “Aren’t you cold?” Yael walked closer to
The Shaman said my child’s fate was already written. And she will die in a horrible death from a demon named Kieran of the West. I've heard that name before... and I thought the six demons from the west were merely fairy tales. “Are you serious?” Was the only thing I could say. The words came out of me again and again as I muttered my disbelief. My hands flew to my hands, my fingers grabbed and pulled my hair — and yet, I felt nothing. Tears fell down on my eyes and I heard the shaman excused himself. “I will be telling your husband.” He muttered, his voice was low and almost apologetic. “I’ll give you some time alone.” The door closed and I was left alone. I pulled my legs close to my chest and hugged it tight. I began to shake, my body trembling as the shaman’s words swirled around my head. And I thought my dreams would be coming true. That I’d be happy with Yael and our little girl. Why would the moon goddess bless me with a child if she’s going to be taken anyway?!“This can’
AHBAYA BLOODMOONTwo weeks passed by so quickly and just like how fast life moves on from one event to another, here I am now trying to forage with my mate in the great forest of the Eastern Kingdom. The ship has been built, everything is ready — we only need food and then we can leave. We had been looking for rootcrops for almost half a day, and yet the woven basket was empty, but Yael was looking on the bright side and was saying it was half full. Blue and Yohan on the otherhand are being watched over by Timothy, Daniella and Melodias. I couldn’t trust them anymore. Not when I managed to learn the truth from Blue. He helped that wreched woman, Hyacinth, escape. It was the desire of his wolf, he said. But I beg to differ. And since Yohan is fateful to Blue, and was practically giving him is all like a god — I had to tie them up, stop them from doing something utterly stupid and condemn them at my Kingdom. I felt like Blue had given Hyacinth Shaldan the last piece of love he had in
HYACINTH SHALDAN It was me, I was the one who planned all of this. I am the mastermind of it all. Before Melodias even knew the truth, I had already plotted things with the Alpha of the Bloodmoon pack, controlled things behind closed doors and wished for Ahbaya Bloodmoon’s downfall because she stole what was mine. Nobody can steal what’s destined to be mine, and now she’s going to have a bitter taste of her own medicine. But will I ever admit doing it? No. I would never. And once Blue finds out, he will probably reject me as his mate, take my child away from me and banish me from the back and proclaim me as a rogue she-wolf. Worst case scenario is once he rejects me… he’s going to steal Ahbaya from Yael, leave that stinky bear and kill Yael. And that’s something that I’ll never allow. Never How did I do it? With some help from my mate, Blue — yes, he is a cheater and stupid but he is one of the few who is loyal to the bones, the ones that I could trust with my life. He is mated
I thought everything we had been working hard for was falling into place, smoothly transitioning just like how we had planned. Ahbaya and I were both responsible for overseeing how the boat was made. The 10 feet wide and 25 feet long sail boat looked pretty solid. With sails made of canvas extracted from the cotton trees of the forest, the room made from the humongous trees. In a few days, we would be able to go back to the Northern Kingdom to hunt down Hyacinth before she could rat us out to Ahbaya’s father. But then Blue must have done something so stupid that even his lover, Yohan almost beat the shit out of him. He shifted into a bear and almost broke every single bone in his lover’s body. The sound of Blue’s bones breaking sounded like firecrackers. And his screams sounded even worse.“Blue — fuck, AHBAYA!” Melodias, the one helping the couple, panicked and ran towards our direction. “Help — Yohan is practically killing Blue!”“What?!” Ahbaya and I exclaimed in unison.Ahbaya, Da
