Time flies when you’re pregnant. Or not.

Kelsey felt like she’d been carrying the baby for a million years and it had only just been five months. She was heavy and it hurteverywhere most of the time. Her feet felt like she had rocks beneath them and it was difficult to even do a squat.

She was just one month away from giving birth and even though it felt like a long time because of the weight of her stomach, it also felt too soon because she was scared of childbirth. She had heard horrifying stories about how painful it was for a woman to give birth from women in her class.

Kate told her not to worry, that it won’t be as horrifying as they say but it was impossible not to when she was only thirty days away and she knew Kate was just trying to make her feel better.
