Chapter Ninety Five

She’d always known she was pretty but right now, the entire world was about to know it too. Alice picked out a short pink gown with way too many openings that made it look likean unfinished work of a crappy tailor.

“I’m supposed to go out in this? Kelsey asked trying her best not to sound like a nun or offend Alice. “On purpose?”

“Don’t give me that look, you’ll look amazing in this dress.” Alice retorted.

“It’s barely even a dress, Alice, look how many holes it has.”

“Fine, would you prefer this then?” She asked dangling a shiny royal blue dress in Kelsey’s face.

“Why didn’t you lead with this?” Kelsey said admiring the dress, she took it from her and rushed upstairs to try it on.

“You have to be kidding me?!” Alice yelled after her but she heard the click sound of the door locking behind Kelsey.

It was the click sound again, Kelsey was out of her room, everyone turned in the direction of the stairs, curios to see what she looks like in the dress, it was like awaiting Cinderella. Kel
