A Cruel Decision

**Clair's POV***

Ever since the incident with Alpha Rojas and the lady named Clair, Alpha Damian had instructed somebody to guard outside my office. This way, they'll be able to handle whoever dares to intrude.

As usual, Alpha Rojas and I were planning for the launching of my new lipstick. This was important to me, and the fact that the Alpha was willing to sponsor as compensation for what happened that day was actually soothing.

Since I couldn't stop him from wanting to help me, then I can as well accept his help with open arms.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Rojas, for all your support so far.”

“Oh you don't actually need to thank me at all. I did what I did with my whole heart. And we are business partners, so of course it is only right that I render my support.”

I simply smiled at him. Feeling so delighted.

“Once again, I want to apologize for all that happened that day with Diane. I'm well aware of the embarrassment you felt. I promise such a thing will never happen again.”
