Ch. 35 A Much Needed Mate

The minute I reached Saoirse, I dropped to my knees and hugged her. I could still hear Elda scolding me from afar. That little pixie is the devil. I assaulted my mate with kisses all over her face, and then I gave the same treatment to her huge baby bump. She looked breathtaking.

Her cheeks were rosy, and her eyes were twinkling with amusement. I took a silky strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear.

"Goddess, sweetheart, you look ethereal."

She huffed, and I laughed. She was wearing a white silk nightgown with lace that definitely makes her look like some sort of goddess or other wordly creature. She looked tired and in pain. My pups are giving her a hard time.

"I'm so happy you're back, Blaze." Her sexy voice carreses my ears. "How is Azalea? I'm sorry you had to leave her."

"You're so selfless, dove. Had I known you weren't feeling well, I would have never left you. From now on, I will trust my instinct. You and my children will always come first."
