Chapter 127

NEIL'S POV

The next day, I visited the stranger again in the hospital room. I wanted to make sure I was there when he woke up so I could question him. Luckily, today was that day. His eyes were open and he looked around the place.

The doctor, nurse and I watched as he stirred slightly in his bed. He kept murmuring a name that I hadn’t thought he would say.

"Lorraine... Lorraine..." he murmured.

My heart stopped in my chest for a second. Lorraine? Wait.... No... It can't be. He obviously knows someone with the same name. Right?

"Who could Lorraine be?" the doctor asked "He's been calling her name since he woke up"

"He's disoriented" I said "A friend of mine, Lorraine, came here yesterday. Could that be the reason? I called her name a lot while we were in the room together"

"I'm not sure. Anyway, we'll find out soon. We're running tests, but it seems like he might have a concussion or some sort of amnesia. He's very confused about his location and the people around him."
