**NATASHA'S POV**
I fled from my pack to ensure my own safety. I knew Omegas were chasing me, so I had to run as fast as I could or else I would be captured and sold into slavery, or even worse, forced to marry the evil Alpha. I had been married to the late Alpha, who was betrayed and killed by his own Beta. Betas typically hold the second-in-command position after the alpha and generally show respect towards the Alpha. However, this was not the case for Beta Damien.Beta Damien had always desired to become an Alpha, so he killed my husband and took his place.I couldn't bear the pain of losing my husband, so my mother took me back to her home to help me heal. Little did she know that this would cost her life. The new Alpha requested my hand in marriage, but I refused. He then sent his omegas to forcefully bring me to him.The omegas arrived to take me to the Alpha, but my mother resisted and gave me the opportunity to escape."Run!! Natasha!!! RUN!!!" were the last words my mother said to me as I ran into the thick bushes. I looked back and saw our house on fire, but I couldn't see my mother. Despite the agony, I continued my journey. After what seemed like an hour of running, I decided to take a rest beside a tree in the forest. I sat down, catching my breath from the intense run I had just endured. Suddenly, I heard the sounds of paws approaching, and from the scent they carried, I knew they were close. I had to continue running; I had to outrun them or else I would be caught.I stood up and ran as fast as I could. I moved faster than a little wolf like me should be able to. Despite being 20 years old, my small frame made others perceive me as a young wolf. I ran and ran until I could no longer hear the sound of their pursuit. I attempted to sniff the air to catch their scent, but they were no longer close. I kept running until finally, I ran out of our pack.At this point, I began living the life of a lone wolf. I survived by eating vegetables and small animals found in the forest. Clean water was scarce, so I had no choice but to drink contaminated water. My once white fur became dirty because I could hardly find the means to bathe.Although I found temporary refuge sometimes, it didn't stop me from running. I knew that Alpha Damien must have ordered his Omegas to find me, and they would not stop searching until they captured me. The last thing I wanted was to be forced into marriage with the Evil Beta who killed my Alpha husband and took his position. For more than two years, I continued running and became accustomed to it. It had been a while since I had encountered any other wolves. I moved stealthily from one forest to another to avoid being caught. I knew that Alphas respected each other, so if I were caught in another pack, I might end up being handed back to Damien. One fateful day, as I was moving through the forest, I caught a scent. I couldn't identify what it was, but I knew they were closing in on me. They were approaching quickly, much faster than I could run. I was confused as to how they could run silently. I was convinced that I was being chased by trained wolves or some other type of being.I tried to increase my speed, but it was too late. I saw them running from behind me, and suddenly they surrounded me, blocking every possible escape route. Fear gripped me as I realized I couldn't outrun them anymore.I couldn't comprehend what kind of wolves they were, as I wondered how they could run with such immense speed, even on two legs(human form). They hissed at me, revealing their sharp teeth. Two of the teeth were located in their upper jaw, and the rest on the lower jaw. They didn't shift into their wolf form, yet they were displaying their menacing teeth.I could feel adrenaline coursing through my veins. I had never been this terrified before. I looked into their bloodshot eyes, long nails, and sharp teeth. I began to move backward slowly as they approached me. I knew I had to escape or face the possibility of returning to Damien or even being killed by them.Since my 22 years of being a wolf, I had never encountered creatures like these. Just as I turned my back to escape, I accidentally bumped into a muscular man. I looked up to see who it was, but before I could react, the man punched me. Everything in my field of vision became blurry, and even my sight began to fade until everything went dark.*********I woke up in a hall feeling exhausted. Even in my wolf form, I tried to shift, but I couldn't. Shifting was a common ability among wolves, though some found it easier than others. Shifting had always been painful for me, as it required breaking down my bones and restructuring them.Although shifting had become difficult for me over the years, I was still capable of doing it. But now, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't shift. After exhausting all efforts, I eventually surrendered and once again, darkness engulfed my sight.*******I woke up for the second time, and I could hear men discussing nearby. I tried to open my eyes fully to see them, but I couldn't. I managed to open them halfway, but my vision was still blurry. However, I could tell that they were discussing me."Where did you find her?" I heard the voice of someone whom I suspected to be the Alpha ask."Lord, we found her on our boundary, attempting to trespass into our land," another voice answered."then she must be punished for that" the voice someone whom I suspected to be the Apha added. In the werewolf kingdom where I come from, we refer to our leader as the Alpha, so I was perplexed as to why he was being called Lord. Trespassing into another pack's territory was not allowed, and if caught, there would be consequences. It was not new for me to hear such discussions.I could hear the men approaching me, so I tried to see their faces, but my weakness prevented me from doing so. I managed to raise my head slightly and open my eyes halfway, but everything remained blurry. I could tell they were staring at me before I lowered my head again. They walked away, their voices fading as they left me alone, and for the last time my vision turned black.**ALEXANDER'S POV**She appeared petite and fragile - my hand could easily break her in half. Yet, when they told me there was a wolf crossing our borders, she was not what I expected to see. There was something peculiar about her that intrigued me. I couldn't help but admire her beauty. I wonder why she is trespassing into our territory. "Doesn't she know about the Laws?" I thought to myself. She had a captivating presence, with her white fur and mesmerizing blue eyes, even in her wolf form. I had yet to see her in human form, but I longed to be in her presence. Despite her dirty white fur and scratches on her body, her beauty was still enchanting.****The war between humans, wolves, and vampires ended centuries ago, and the council established a Sacred Law for each entity to stay away from one another. This law meant that any wolf or human trespassing into vampire territory would be sentenced to death or locked up immediately. In some cases, if it was discovered that they were flee
THREE YEARS AGOI heard the sound of breaking glass from a distance and the shouts of people outside. It was chaos. I hurried inside to where my husband was sleeping before I left. What I saw almost made me faint. I saw my husband lying lifeless on the ground in a pool of his own blood. I cried and screamed in pain, but it didn't change the fact that my husband was already dead.At first, I thought it was a dream, but after several attempts to help him, he remained lifeless. I knew this wasn't a dream.Alpha Damien took over immediately and started selling the Omegas into slave trading. Other omegas were kept to serve him and help him with his evil plans. He sent his evil Omegas to forcefully bring other little Omegas and kill their parents if they resisted. Then, he would sell these little Omegas into slave trade. In our werewolf packs, the wealth was measured by the number of slaves one had, so slave trading became prevalent.Parents were being killed and houses were being burnt dow
**NATASHA'S POV**"Your vitals seem to be good, and you're healing very well," Desmond said as he removed his stethoscope from my chest. "How are you feeling?""Good, thanks for helping me," I replied with a smile on my face.He shook his head. "No need to thank me, I'm just doing my job."I nodded and looked out of the window. Desmond pulled up the blinds so that I could get a better view. I could see the moon, and there was something calming about it.There was a moment of silence in the room as I continued to gaze at the moon. Suddenly, I turned to Desmond and asked him, "What will happen to me after I've fully healed?"He cleared his throat and spoke calmly, "Natasha, I know what you're thinking. You think we're going to suck your blood and kill you, but we can't do that." He looked into my eyes, as if expecting a response."People might see us as evil and terrible, but I assure you, we are not like that. There may be several bad vampires, but that doesn't mean all vampires are ba
**ALEXANDER'S POV**I did everything I could to remove my mind from Natasha, but it seems I was wasting my time as my heart keeps beating for her. The more I try to forget about her, the more I find myself longing to be with her."Who are you, Natasha??" I screamed, talking to myself. "I'm really going insane and I need to do something about it before it's too late."Everything about her keeps calling me. All I want is for her to exist, nothing else. I've never experienced this kind of pull in my life. I guess this is the strongest pull one could experience. In just a few hours of knowing her, my body has really changed. I feel like I'm being haunted because her love is hunting me like a ghost.I looked up at the moon and felt both sad and happy at the same time, unable to determine my mood."Moon Goddess, please help me make the right decision," I silently prayed, raising my eyes above the sky.Once again, I looked at the healing center and felt another pull to go back there. I wante
**NATASHA'S POV**I heard a loud roar in my room and instantly, I was on high alert. I sat up on the hospital bed where I had been sleeping and looked around for any possible threat. "Sorry, did I wake you up?" Desmond asked after noticing me. He moved to the window and opened the blinds, allowing the morning sun to stream into the room, illuminating the darkness. I couldn't even remember falling asleep, but I figured it had something to do with Desmond. After Jorge had hurt me, Desmond gave me a sedative to help me sleep while he worked on my rib. Since my Wolf was still weak, she wasn't healing as quickly as Desmond would have liked. "It's okay," I groaned. "What time is it?" "It's now 2pm in the afternoon," he replied. My eyes widened in shock. I had slept for so long, yet I still felt exhausted. Desmond came to my bed to examine me, poking and prodding me, causing me severe pain. I had to stay still so he could do his work. I really wanted to heal quickly so I could get back
3 YEARS AGO**NATASHA'S POV**I found myself in the forest just behind my parklands. The smell of smoke wafted through the air, coming from the compound, and the sound of people screaming filled my ears. My heart ached as I ran away from my home, my family, and the woman who had carried me for nine months in her belly. I couldn't save her, and I couldn't even fight for myself so I had to run.My mother's voice echoed in my mind, urging me to run. "Run, Natasha, run!" I pushed my legs to move faster, ignoring the pain. The sound of paws echoed behind me, indicating the presence of seven mature wolves chasing after me.I continued running, disregarding the wolves getting closer. Eventually, their paws faded away, and I abruptly opened my terrified eyes. This was it. I was on my own now. I frantically looked around the room, trying to take in my surroundings.I no longer found myself in the woods. I was in an unfamiliar place that I couldn't recognize. As I glanced at my sides, I noticed
**ALEXANDER'S POV**The sun was setting, bringing an end to another day filled with unanswered questions about Natasha and her true identity. It was driving me insane. She had managed to infiltrate every corner of my mind, to the point where I couldn't think or breathe without her face appearing in my thoughts. I desperately wanted to uncover the truth about her, but she remained tight-lipped. The last time I spoke to her, she had been hysterical. Judging from her reactions, I knew I was right. She was running from something, or rather, someone. The first thing I needed to do was to call Lord Cyrus and inform him that his supposedly impenetrable boundary had been breached by wolves, and that I had seen them today as well. I didn't know why they were here or where they were from, but their behavior convinced me that they were searching for something, or someone. Their eyes were fixated on my territory, confirming my suspicion that they were after Natasha. I had no idea what they want
**NATASHA'S POV**I slowly opened my eyes and returned from the dream world to reality. The medication Desmond had given me was wearing off, and I was beginning to regain consciousness. It took a moment for my vision to focus. I saw someone standing by my bed, but the sleep in my eyes made my vision unclear. At first, I thought it was Desmond, but as my vision cleared, I noticed that it wasn't him as the person standing behind me was taller. When my vision finally cleared, I confirmed that it wasn't Desmond.I immediately stood up in fear as I realized it was Jorge standing beside me. I quickly turned to the heart monitor and noticed that he had switched off the machines so that Desmond wouldn't hear my panicked heart. "Did you sleep well, my angel?" he sneered at me."What are you doing here? Desmond said that this wing of the center is for trusted personnel only," I replied, panicking in fear. He laughed darkly at my expense. He was looking at me like I was his prey, ready to devo
