Aurora’s POV

My mind drifted to different places as I walked back home that day and I had to concentrate really hard in order to get to my destination without getting lost on the road again. Alexis and I had gone back to the seer and truly the old lady Tess was not lying.

But I didn't get the peace I thought I would get after finding out my what my true identity was. instead, I drowned in sadness and disappointment over what could have been that I didn't have a normal life.

It felt like the moon goddess didn't exist. Why were all the terrible things in the world happening to me? Was it fate or something else? Whatever it was, it wasn't fair.
