“She said she ‘might’ be in danger and not ‘is’ in danger. Besides, she has her other mate.” She argued with him.
She crossed her arms and looked away with a scowl.
“I can’t believe you said that.” Ryan said, feeling offended. “You know what a mate means. And Shadow doesn’t have a wolf who can tell the future. He went rogue to catch Blake. Remember?”
