Sophia’s POV

A few days have passed since I shared the news of my pregnancy with Alexander. He has been incredibly supportive and involved, making an effort to understand every detail of my physical condition. Today, I find myself at Alexander’s magnificent mansion, a place that was once unfamiliar but now feels more like a second home.

As I enter the house, I’m greeted by the warmth and familiarity of the staff. They seem used to my presence now, acknowledging me with smiles and nods. It’s comforting to see that they’ve accepted me as a part of Alexander’s life despite the unconventional circumstances.

Alexander leads me to a cozy sitting area where we can talk privately. He’s prepared a cup of herbal tea for me, making sure I’m comfortable before delving into the topic at hand. I appreciate his attention to detail and his genuine concern for my well-being.

“How do you feel?” He asks.

I take a sip of the soothing tea, appreciating the comforting warmth it brings. “Physically, I’m exp

Sophia’s POV As I gradually regain consciousness, my eyelids flutter open, revealing the emptiness of the hospital room around me. I struggle to sit up, feeling the soreness in my body from the recent labour and the lingering effects of fainting earlier. There is no one beside me, and it makes my heart clench and beat faster for some reason. Confusion and a hollow feeling filled my chest as I sat up, desperately searching for any trace of Alexander. But he or the children are nowhere to be seen, and the realization makes me weak in the knees. A surge of panic gripped me, and I called out to the nurse who entered the room. “You’re awake,” she exclaims. “It’s been a day since you fell asleep. You must have been really exhausted.” “A day?” I ask, fully surprised. It is actually uncommon to fall asleep for a whole day just due to exhaustion, but I guess I must have been so tired that I didn’t want to wake up. It also made me a little relieved, considering the disappearance of Alexa

It is a notification from my bank. When I click on it, I nearly double over in shock. A very huge sum of money has just been deposited into my account, and there is no sender’s name on it for me to determine who it came from. I look at the notification, my eyes scanning my available balance. The number of zeroes behind it makes me feel as though it isn’t mine. It is then I notice the narration section. It reads a message from the sender informing me that the payment is for my surrogacy. I can’t help feeling flustered and surprised at all that is happening. Sophia’s POVAfter the tense negotiations and the binding blood covenant, we finally returned to the safety and comfort of our mansion. The weight of the day's events still hung heavily in the air, but there was also a sense of relief and accomplishment that filled our hearts. Peace between humans and werewolves was no longer just a distant dream; it was becoming a reality. As we stepped through the door, Alexander pulled me into a warm embrace. His worry for me was evident in his eyes, but he couldn't hide the joy and pride that also shone there. I felt his strong arms wrap around me, and I buried my face in his chest, finding solace in his presence."I was so worried about you, Sophia," he whispered into my hair, his voice tinged with emotion. "You're the bravest person I know."I looked up at him, touched by his words, and managed a weak smile. "It was a necessary sacrifice, Alexander. I believe in what we're doing, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes for peace."His lips met m

They had never encountered such a gesture of commitment before. One of them, a stern-looking man, finally spoke. "This is a bold offer, Luna, but how can we be sure that this covenant will hold? A hundred years ago, a human girl made a similar covenant, and peace was shattered. Her soul was offered to the Moon Goddess, and yet, it didn't prevent the war."I took a deep breath, understanding the weight of history behind his words. "I believe that this time is different. Alexander, Tyler, Jake, and I, we all trust each other completely. We are willing to do everything in our power to prevent the Moon Goddess from consuming my soul. I am confident that we can make this covenant hold."Alexander's expression was conflicted as he looked at me, "Sophia, I can't bear the thought of you making such a sacrifice. There must be another way."Tyler and Jake, who had been silent until now,

I had called secretary Candace, repeatedly, hoping for any news about Alexander, but the repeated responses of "no news yet" had done little to ease my concern.Daniel and Daisy had sensed the heaviness in the air and had been keeping me company in the living room. Daisy, with her innocent eyes and heart full of love for her father, was the first to voice her concern. "Mom, where's Daddy? Why hasn't he come back yet?"I tried to put on a brave face, forcing a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, sweetie," I said, my voice soft and comforting. "Daddy will be back soon. Maybe he's just been delayed by something. He'll be home before you know it."Daniel, ever the protector and the older sibling, chimed in with his own attempt at reassurance. "Yeah, Daisy, Mom's right. Dad's probably on his way back now. There's nothing to worry about."Daisy seemed to take comfort in her broth

Sophia’s POVAs we held each other, the gravity of the situation sank in. I knew that this was a risky endeavor, that the Rogues were a dangerous and unpredictable enemy. But I also believed in Tyler and Jake, in their vision of a world where wolves and humans could coexist peacefully. And I was willing to do whatever it took to help them achieve that goal. With a heavy heart, Alexander picked up his phone and dialed Ethan's number. The seconds felt like hours as he waited for his second-in-command to answer. When Ethan's voice finally came through the line, it was filled with a mixture of surprise and curiosity."Alpha, what's going on?" Ethan asked.
