Chapter 34

Selena POV:

It was already daylight when I woke up. For a moment, I couldn’t remember where I was, and it ached to move. I was naked, on the bed, in a room that reeked of sex. I must have passed out sometime last night.

At some point, I remembered Duncan waking me up, and ‘one more’ had become three more. It seemed that I had urged him on every time. He made me drink something spicy, some sort of tea, to wake me up. It tasted awful and I couldn’t remember how I managed to keep it down. Time blurred, but I remembered the sensations sharpening after that.

Looking around, I found him standing by the window. He was staring at the rain outside. He looked so pensive that I wondered what he was thinking about.

My eyes traveled to his back and I saw prominent welts all along his spine, traveling down and disappearing under his sweatpants.
