When Zach made mention of the mates bond and how it could affect mates whenever they are not together, I remembered how I used to feel when Zach and I stayed away from each other.
I used to feel so sad, angry and not interested in anything. At some point, it became so draining that I just wanted to come back home even though I was trying to prove some kind of point.
He bent his head, and I prepared my lips for his. We hadn't kissed in a while, and I could feel my lips longing for his.

Naya's POV My eyes darted around the room in fear. I checked my side, and realised that I was alone in the room. I tried getting off the bed, but I stopped when I felt a sharp pain in my foot.
