"Will you come back home with me? I need you." His words rang in my head again and I got off his lap, tucking my hair behind my ear. I raised my head to look at him, and I saw that he was already staring at me, waiting for me to answer.
Even though I didn't want to accept it, the days I spent without him were...so weird. I didn't realise how much I had gotten used to him. I was hurt, but I had gradually decided to let go of it.
I was just stubborn and making the decision to show them that they shouldn't have hidden something that was so crucial away from me. I pushed those thoughts away and focused on the question that I was asked.
"Yes. I'll come home with you, Zach. I-" before I had the chance to finish my sentence, I pushed his body against mine and hugged me really tight. I smiled and hugged him back, smiling against his back as I did that.
