Zach's POV Before Jack and Chris were about to get to Anna, I stopped them. They started staring at her, growling at her like something was wrong. "What's the issue?" I asked them, and they went back to their positions without saying anything to me. I glanced at Anna and I saw that she was still holding on to her chest, fear written all over her face. What was wrong? I didn't even understand what happened. My pack members usually act that way around enemies only. So, what was the issue now? "I asked a question and I need an answer. Zach's POV "Anna?" I walked inside the room and my eyes darted around. She wasn't in the room, it didn't even look like she passed the night there. "Wh-" "I'm here, alpha Zach." Naya's POV "Hey father, are you okay?" My voice cracked a little and I shut my eyes and placed my hand on my chest, resting in the bed as I did that. "Naya. Are you okay? You sound...unwell. Is everything fine? Do you want to come back home?" When my dad's voice came over the phone, I pushed it away from my ear and pushed it against the bed, still shutting my eyes. Zach's POV While Naya was sleeping, my eyes were fixed on her face. She looked the same, but skinnier. I wondered if she had been taking care of herself, because it looked like she hadn't.
