163: Fear

Alora’s POV

The goddess's lips curved into a smirk as she leaned back, lounging with an air of absolute command. Her eyes glinted with a new hunger, as if an idea had just sparked. I just knew I was going to have her if she said anything more.

“Actually,” she purred, tracing a languid finger along the sheets, “I’ve changed my mind. I want you to join, too.”

My jaw dropped, the disbelief so palpable that I stared at her like she had completely lost her mind. Surely, she was joking. There had to be a shred of humanity, of basic decency, lurking somewhere beneath that ethereal, twisted mask.

But her expression remained unmoved, her gaze level and far too serious for this to be anything less than real. There was none. She wasn’t fucking joking. She wanted us to have sdx with her. In her twisted mind.

She tilted her head, that smug smile spreading as she continued,

“I haven’t had mortals I didn’t create myself in… well, ever. I want to try you. You two seem… promising.” Her eyes raked
