Seraphina’s POV

The priestess looked at me and then turned away. "Follow me."

I made a face. "Where are we going?"

"You’ll see."

It hurts from the last fight, but I sighed and fell into step with her. I thought Fiona was just as interested as I was.

"What do you think she’s up to?" I asked my wolf.

"No idea," Fiona said. "But I like her confidence."

The goddess chuckled. "You and your dog are bonding well. I love that."

I blinked at her. "Wait, how did you—" She laughed. "Have you forgotten? I’m the goddess."

"Oh. Right." I huffed. "Still, that’s not fair. What if I wanted to kill you? You’d hear all my plans."

She laughed even harder. "You can try, little dog. I’d end you in minutes."

I snorted, shaking my head as we walked down the barely lit hallway. "Cocky, aren’t you?"

"Confident," she corrected, shooting me a grin. "Big difference."

"Mmmhmm. Sure."

We passed through the training hall, the sound of sparring fighters ringing around us. I recognized a few faces, but non

Seraphina’s POVI stumbled back. “What did you just say?”The priestess held my eyes. “Your father made a deal with me to lock away your wolf.”My heart beat. “That doesn’t make any sense! Why would he do that? Why would he make me weak?”“To keep you alive.”I clenched my hands. “Alive from what?”Her eyes darkened. “From the same people who murdered your parents.”A cold shiver ran down my spine. My memories were fuzzy, but I could feel them coming back, piece by piece.“I… I saw something,” I whispered. “The night they died. A crest. Red.”The lady nodded. “The Blood Crimson Alpha.”The words made my stomach twist. I had heard of them before, muttered stories of brutality, of killing. But there was only one Alpha I could think of. One name that rang in my mind like a curse.“Lucien.”The priestess breathed sharply. “You remember.”“Not everything,” I admitted, my voice shaking. “Just flashes. His figure in the darkness. The crest. The screams.” I swallowed hard. “Why? Why would he

Seraphina's POVAs I opened my eyes, I found out that I was in a room, covered with a blanket, and a cup of hot coffee was by my side, with a towel inside warm water on the other side. My whole body ached, my muscles sore like I had been hit by a rock."Where is this?" I mumbled, my voice hoarse. The last thing I remembered was me turning in the woods… Fiona taking over… then nothing. Guess I passed out.I tried to sit up, but my limbs wouldn’t obey. Pain shot through my arms and legs, causing me to let out a sharp breath. My skin was littered with bruises, dark spots running from my hands down to my legs."Is this how moving is? So painful?" I thought out loud, aching as I moved my fingers.Fiona?I whispered in my mind, looking for her presence, but there was nothing. A hollow silence filled the space where she should have been.Fiona? I called again, fear creeping in. But still, no answer."What’s wrong?" I grumbled, my chest tightening."Don’t worry, I had to put her to sleep."I

Seraphina’s POVAfter trying to finally be calm, I then heard Fiona's voice..."Hi."I blinked, my heart skipping a beat. I sat up quickly, my head spinning from the sudden movement. "Hey," I whispered. "You scared me. I thought you left me.""Nah, you know I can't," Fiona's voice was firm, yet there was something softer underneath. "I was shut out. But I'm back."Relief flooded through me. "Good. I was starting to think you abandoned me.""Never," she replied. "But we have a bigger problem."I swallowed hard, already knowing what she meant. "Lucien.""Lucien," she echoed. "And his entire pack. We need to make them pay."I gripped the warm cup of coffee by my side, taking a slow sip. The bitterness burned my throat, but it grounded me. "We will," I said firmly. "But we need to be smart about it. I still need more training."Fiona growled low in my head. "Training? You think training will prepare us for this? They took everything from us! They need to suffer!""And they will," I assure

Seraphina’s POV"Today's training exercise will be centered on controlling your wolves!" the trainer yelled in the courtyard. "You need to learn how to tame your wolf and make it your partner, not your LORD!"I barely listened. The words meant nothing to me. I knew I needed to get stronger, yet it felt like the hate I had for Lucien was clouding my mind. My attention was slipping, and I didn’t care. I knew I was strong. Strong enough. "Are you listening?!" my teacher snapped, his sharp voice cutting through my thoughts. I blinked and shook my head, clearing my mind. "Sorry about that. I'm back." His eyes narrowed. "Don’t let it happen again!" I nodded, but my mind was still elsewhere. He stepped forward, arms crossed. "Alright. Since you're so busy, you go first. Shift, control your wolf, and hold the form without losing yourself. If I see even a flash of lost control, you're running ten laps around the field. Got it?" I gritted my teeth. "Got it." I took a deep breath, causing

Seraphine's POVLucien’s face flashed in my mind, his smirk, his lies, his betrayal. Everything he had done. Everything he had taken.I snarled, lunging forward without thought. My body moved before my mind could catch up. I struck, fists flying, claws extending. I wasn’t fighting the trainer anymore. I was fighting Lucien. He dodged, but I was faster. I kicked, sweeping his legs out from under him. He hit the ground hard, but I didn’t stop. I jumped onto him, fists slamming down, one after another. My vision was red. My blood roared.“Seraphina!”A voice, distant, familiar. It didn’t matter.I kept hitting. The trainer grunted, trying to block, but I was relentless. I saw Lucien’s face beneath my fists, his smug, arrogant face, and I wanted to break it. I needed to.“Seraphina, stop!”Hands grabbed me, yanking me back. I roared, thrashing, but more hands came. More voices.“Enough!”My vision snapped into focus. My breathing was ragged. My chest heaved. My hands—shaking, bloodied.Th

Seraphina’s POVI got a knock on my door."Who’s there?" I called out, already annoyed."It’s the maid, Miss. The Priestess said you should come to the dining room for dinner."I frowned. "Wow… really? Okay, I’ll be down soon."I stared at the door for a moment, my thoughts swirling. This was unusual. Every night, my food was brought to my room, no questions asked. But today, she wanted me downstairs. Maybe she wanted to apologize. Maybe she wanted to talk about what happened earlier.I scoffed. Didn’t matter. I wasn’t changing my mind. I was leaving tomorrow. Nothing could stop me now.I got up, brushed the dust off my clothes, and made my way down. The dining hall was dimly lit, the fire in the hearth flickering. The Priestess sat at the head of the table, calm, collected, watching me as I entered."You actually came," she said, sipping her wine.I shrugged. "You asked. I figured it must be important.""Sit."I hesitated but finally pulled out a chair and sat across from her. The fo

I need blood." "Lucien wants you angry," she said. "Anger makes you careless. It makes you predictable. He’s counting on that." My breath hitched slightly. Fiona growled in my head, but I ignored her. "I’m not predictable." She gave me a sad smile. "You are." I clenched my jaw. "Then tell me. What’s your way? What’s your great plan?" She paused for just a moment, then said, "We use his own tactics against him." I made a face. "Meaning?" "We watch. We infiltrate. We find his flaws." I narrowed my eyes. "You want me to wait." "I want you to win." I inhaled sharply. "Waiting won’t change anything. He’ll still be the same monster. Still be untouchable." "No one is untouchable," she said. "Not even Lucien. Seraphina’s POV"Fiona!" I begged, screaming for my wolf. "Come on! Shift!"Nothing. Silence. My wolf—my strength—refused to come out. Another hit. Then another. My body hit the ground hard, the dirt rough against my skin. My vision blurred as boots kicked into my ribs, my side, my back. I gritted my teeth, trying to push up, but a heavy boot pushed down on my shoulder, pushing me back down. "Pathetic," Ryder spat. "I expected more of a fight." I groaned, struggling. Blood dripped from my lips as I looked up at him. "Coward. You needed ten men to take me down." His smirk didn’t fade. "No, I just wanted to watch you suffer." I coughed, tasting blood. "Go to hell." He crouched down beside me, holding my chin hard. "Ladies first." I jerked my head away, trying to breathe past the pain. My whole body ached, but I couldn’t give up. Not like this. Ryder straightened, stepping back. "Finish her off. And make it slow." The guards moved in again, their snarls filling the air. Fiona,

Seraphine's POVAs it stood... all I could do was just get pissed more and more. My wolf Fiona was way too weak... she couldn't even communicate with me really much again. I wasn't fed well, I wasn't even catered for well. I have just been locked up in this cage. But I don't regret my actions. I would do it again and again if I have to. I don't care. I am here to kill Lucien, and that I must do.Footsteps. Heavy ones. I knew the sound too well by now. The guard was coming with food. I sat up, my back pressing against the cold, damp wall. The air in this place was stale, filled with the scent of rot and old blood. I clenched my fists as the footsteps stopped right outside my cell. The metal door groaned open. A plate was shoved inside. Bread. Soup. The usual garbage. My stomach twisted in anger more than hunger."Eat," the guard grunted.I glared at him, my body tensed. He was careless today. Standing a little too close. If not for these damn chains... I felt my wolf stir weakly at the

Lucas's POVThe problem at hand is getting out of control. Alpha Damien is getting ground faster than I expected. I can feel the stress in the room as my leaders gather around the table in the strategy room. They’re all looking to me for answers, for some sort of plan that will turn this war in our favor. But all I can think about is the Luna—her words, her betrayal, and the chaos she’s brought into my life.“All I want right now is to make sure my pack is safe and that everything works out just fine,” I said, pacing around the room. “We need to win this war. No matter what.”“Alpha, may I speak freely?” one of the leaders, Marcus, asked, standing up.I waved a hand. “Go ahead.”Marcus cleared his throat, looking at the others before locking eyes with me. “The major reason we’re losing is because the soldiers believe the Luna is back. They’re saying she’ll bring bad luck.”My chest tightened. I slammed my fist on the table, making the leaders jump. “We are not here to discuss supersti

  • The Alpha's Forbidden Luna   Chapter 109: Lucas

Lucas's POV"Get the army ready. We have a war to fight."That was my final order to the Twins before I left for the priestess’s house. I needed to ensure Seraphina would remain asleep for another year. My claim to the throne had to be secured, and she was the only real threat standing in my way.Arriving at the priestess’s dwelling, I was met by her servants, their faces blank and unreadable. They bowed slightly, stepping aside as I approached the grand entrance."I need to see the priestess," I said, my voice steady but firm. One of the servants hesitated before responding. "She is in her chambers, my lord. She will be called. Please wait here."I exhaled sharply, forcing myself to stay calm. I had no time to wait. But I knew better than to push the priestess’s patience. So, I sat down, my fingers tapping against the armrest of the wooden chair.Minutes passed. Too many. The anticipation was suffocating. I was so close to my goal, yet everything still felt fragile. If Seraphina woke

Lucas’s POVThe fight between Alpha Damien and Alpha Lucien has been going just as planned," I said, sipping my wine in my house. "Now, the right time for me to strike is near.""Uncle... strike what?"I turned to see the Twin Alphas standing in my doorway. Their sharp eyes studied me as if trying to understand my words."Ah, nothing," I said quickly, waving a hand. "Just talking to myself."They traded looks, clearly unconvinced, but didn’t push further."Alright," one of them said. "We actually came here to tell you that the other agents you sent are here. They’d like to see you."I nodded. "Good. I’ll be downstairs in a minute."They paused for a second before finally leaving, slamming the door behind them. I smirked, stirring the wine in my glass as I leaned back into my chair.Over a year ago, I had Seraphina taken to a healer, and she had been asleep ever since. That made it the best moment for me to take everything that was rightfully mine. Without her around, my plans were mov

Ryder's POVI walked outside angrily, still fuming. I did everything right for the pack. I made sure Seraphina was out. I made sure she was gone, yet she survived. And now she was back? Talking all kinds of nonsense to Lucien? Trying to ruin everything I had built? No. I wouldn’t allow it.“She should be dead,” I muttered, my fists clenching as I walked to my guards. “She was supposed to be dead.”As I approached, my guards straightened and bowed. “Beta Ryder.”“I have a job for you,” I said without hesitation. “Tell me about the guards around Seraphina’s cell.”One of them, Jax, stepped forward. “Her prison is heavily guarded, Beta. The Alpha ordered extra men to watch her. No one goes in or out without permission.”I cursed under my breath. Of course, Lucien would do that. “How many?”“Four inside, four outside. Two more at the entrance to the dungeon.”Ten guards. That was more than I expected. “Who’s leading them?”“Hale.”I gritted my teeth. Hale was one of Lucien’s most loyal me

Lucien’s POVI walked back into my study room, angrily, even as I was lost in thought on everything that Seraphina told me earlier. Was she actually right? That Ryder was behind her attempted death? Nah... It can't be true. She can't be serious, I said to myself, even as I was so angry, trying to suppress my anger. The door creaked open, and Ryder stepped in, his usual smug look in place. "Alpha," he said, nodding at me. "Our men are winning in the war at the southern part of the pack. We have the rogues cornered. Just a little more force and—"I didn't let him finish.Grabbing him by the collar, I slammed him against the wall, my fingers tightening around his shirt. His eyes widened in shock. "What the hell, Lucien?!"I growled lowly. "You tell me, Ryder. Tell me why Seraphina is saying you were behind her attempted death! Tell me why she would look me in the eye and swear that my own Beta—my so-called right-hand man—is a traitor!"He scoffed, his lips curling into an amused smirk ev

Lucien's eyes flared with surprise, his hands shaking as he stepped toward me. "You're lying!"The slap came too quickly for me to brace myself. My head snapped to the side, and the sting burst through my skin. Blood rushed into my mouth, and I tasted iron on my tongue.I wiped my mouth slowly, a slow smile twisting up the corner of my lips. "I don't lie, Lucien. Not about things that matter.""You think you can turn me against my Beta?" His voice was low, angry, each word holding the weight of a threat. His jaw clenched as if holding back a monster, his whole body shaking with repressed anger.I laughed bitterly, tasting the metallic taste of blood again. "What makes you think I give a damn about your Beta?"He advanced, looming over me, his shadow swallowing the dim light in the cell. "You’d better stop lying, Seraphina. If you think you

Seraphina’s POVGuess the loneliness has started kicking in.Night was falling, and I could still hear the clash of Damien and Lucien's men outside. The distant sound of swords clashing and men grunting filled the cold air, a cruel reminder that the war was far from over. I shifted slightly, my chains clanking against the stone floor, the silver still burning my skin. My body was screaming in pain, but my mind? It was sharper than ever.At this point, I didn’t even know if I had made the wrong choice coming here all alone, against the Priestess’s will. But what choice did I have? I needed my revenge, and I needed it fast."You didn’t," a voice in my head said.Ava.I scowled. "Don’t start.""You should have waited," she said, her voice calm but firm."Waited for what?" I tried to open my eyes, but they refused to follow. My head pounded, a dull ache spreading through my brain.Then—cold. Ice-cold water crashed against my skin, pulling me back into awareness. A sharp gasp ripped from my throat as my body jerked awake. My eyes flew open, and I saw them. Four guards stood around me, their faces emotionless, their eyes void of compassion. What the hell! I struggled, but something was wrong. My body refused to move the way it should. I reached for my wolf, calling to her, demanding her strength— But there was nothing. Silence. Panic crawled up my spine. My dog had never abandoned me. Not once. But now, she was gone—silent, inaccessible. I tried to move again. My arms didn’t budge. My legs felt stiff. What the fuck?
