Seraphina’s POV

After trying to finally be calm, I then heard Fiona's voice...

"Hi."

I blinked, my heart skipping a beat. I sat up quickly, my head spinning from the sudden movement. "Hey," I whispered. "You scared me. I thought you left me."

"Nah, you know I can't," Fiona's voice was firm, yet there was something softer underneath. "I was shut out. But I'm back."

Relief flooded through me. "Good. I was starting to think you abandoned me."

"Never," she replied. "But we have a bigger problem."

I swallowed hard, already knowing what she meant. "Lucien."

"Lucien," she echoed. "And his entire pack. We need to make them pay."

I gripped the warm cup of coffee by my side, taking a slow sip. The bitterness burned my throat, but it grounded me. "We will," I said firmly. "But we need to be smart about it. I still need more training."

Fiona growled low in my head. "Training? You think training will prepare us for this? They took everything from us! They need to suffer!"

"And they will," I assure

Seraphina’s POV"Today's training exercise will be centered on controlling your wolves!" the trainer yelled in the courtyard. "You need to learn how to tame your wolf and make it your partner, not your LORD!"I barely listened. The words meant nothing to me. I knew I needed to get stronger, yet it felt like the hate I had for Lucien was clouding my mind. My attention was slipping, and I didn’t care. I knew I was strong. Strong enough. "Are you listening?!" my teacher snapped, his sharp voice cutting through my thoughts. I blinked and shook my head, clearing my mind. "Sorry about that. I'm back." His eyes narrowed. "Don’t let it happen again!" I nodded, but my mind was still elsewhere. He stepped forward, arms crossed. "Alright. Since you're so busy, you go first. Shift, control your wolf, and hold the form without losing yourself. If I see even a flash of lost control, you're running ten laps around the field. Got it?" I gritted my teeth. "Got it." I took a deep breath, causing

Seraphine's POVLucien’s face flashed in my mind, his smirk, his lies, his betrayal. Everything he had done. Everything he had taken.I snarled, lunging forward without thought. My body moved before my mind could catch up. I struck, fists flying, claws extending. I wasn’t fighting the trainer anymore. I was fighting Lucien. He dodged, but I was faster. I kicked, sweeping his legs out from under him. He hit the ground hard, but I didn’t stop. I jumped onto him, fists slamming down, one after another. My vision was red. My blood roared.“Seraphina!”A voice, distant, familiar. It didn’t matter.I kept hitting. The trainer grunted, trying to block, but I was relentless. I saw Lucien’s face beneath my fists, his smug, arrogant face, and I wanted to break it. I needed to.“Seraphina, stop!”Hands grabbed me, yanking me back. I roared, thrashing, but more hands came. More voices.“Enough!”My vision snapped into focus. My breathing was ragged. My chest heaved. My hands—shaking, bloodied.Th

Seraphina’s POVI got a knock on my door."Who’s there?" I called out, already annoyed."It’s the maid, Miss. The Priestess said you should come to the dining room for dinner."I frowned. "Wow… really? Okay, I’ll be down soon."I stared at the door for a moment, my thoughts swirling. This was unusual. Every night, my food was brought to my room, no questions asked. But today, she wanted me downstairs. Maybe she wanted to apologize. Maybe she wanted to talk about what happened earlier.I scoffed. Didn’t matter. I wasn’t changing my mind. I was leaving tomorrow. Nothing could stop me now.I got up, brushed the dust off my clothes, and made my way down. The dining hall was dimly lit, the fire in the hearth flickering. The Priestess sat at the head of the table, calm, collected, watching me as I entered."You actually came," she said, sipping her wine.I shrugged. "You asked. I figured it must be important.""Sit."I hesitated but finally pulled out a chair and sat across from her. The fo

I need blood." "Lucien wants you angry," she said. "Anger makes you careless. It makes you predictable. He’s counting on that." My breath hitched slightly. Fiona growled in my head, but I ignored her. "I’m not predictable." She gave me a sad smile. "You are." I clenched my jaw. "Then tell me. What’s your way? What’s your great plan?" She paused for just a moment, then said, "We use his own tactics against him." I made a face. "Meaning?" "We watch. We infiltrate. We find his flaws." I narrowed my eyes. "You want me to wait." "I want you to win." I inhaled sharply. "Waiting won’t change anything. He’ll still be the same monster. Still be untouchable." "No one is untouchable," she said. "Not even Lucien. Seraphina’s POV"Fiona!" I begged, screaming for my wolf. "Come on! Shift!"Nothing. Silence. My wolf—my strength—refused to come out. Another hit. Then another. My body hit the ground hard, the dirt rough against my skin. My vision blurred as boots kicked into my ribs, my side, my back. I gritted my teeth, trying to push up, but a heavy boot pushed down on my shoulder, pushing me back down. "Pathetic," Ryder spat. "I expected more of a fight." I groaned, struggling. Blood dripped from my lips as I looked up at him. "Coward. You needed ten men to take me down." His smirk didn’t fade. "No, I just wanted to watch you suffer." I coughed, tasting blood. "Go to hell." He crouched down beside me, holding my chin hard. "Ladies first." I jerked my head away, trying to breathe past the pain. My whole body ached, but I couldn’t give up. Not like this. Ryder straightened, stepping back. "Finish her off. And make it slow." The guards moved in again, their snarls filling the air. Fiona,

"I told you, I got your back. We got this," Fiona said, even though she was angry I let Ryder go."You should have killed him," she insisted. "No," I answered. "I let him go for a reason. He will lead me back to the Alpha's pack." "Wow, nice plan," Fiona said. "So, we leaving now?" "Yes," I said, turning back and seeing the night fire coming from the priestess's house. "Thanks for all you did for me," I thought, looking at the house. "But I got to fight this battle myself before I start following Damien's tracks." I had no choice to stop and bandage my cuts; I was bleeding so badly. I stumbled through the trees, each step sending pain through my body. "Keep moving," Fiona encouraged. "We can't stop now." Seraphine’s POVIt was getting late. The sky had turned a deep shade of blue, and the cold air crept in, cutting at my skin. I knew we couldn’t keep going all night. Even if I had the strength, Ryder didn’t. Just looking at him, I could tell he was close to passing out. His face was pale, his steps unsteady. The blood hadn’t stopped. I sighed. As much as I wanted him dead, I didn’t want to become that person—not yet.“We stop here for the night,” I said firmly, letting go of the rope I had tied around his arms and tying it to a tree nearby. Ryder wobbled a little but caught himself. He lifted his head, his eyes hazy. “That’s surprising,” he mumbled. “Didn’t think you had mercy in you.” I shot him a glare. “Don’t mistake it for mercy.” He chuckled weakly. “Then what is it?” I ignored him. Instead, I stepped away, looking around for firewood. The forest was quiet, too quiet. The only sound was the crunch of leaves beneath my boots. I grabbed what I needed, then returned and started

Lucien’s POVThis week has been the most stressful ever. I am fucking losing it. Alpha Damien was right when he said he would make sure he turned me to dust. Because the strikes he has been releasing on my pack have been so terrible, and it’s truly crumbling me to the highest. Another thing—Ryder took some of my men. He said he wanted to get some of Damien’s spies that ran into the woods, and up till now, he isn’t back. As it stands, I don’t even know what to do. Why all this torture to me? I slammed my hand into the wooden table, causing a loud crack to echo through the room. My gamma, Felix, flinched but kept his eyes on me.“Lucien,” he started, his voice steady but firm. “Losing your head won’t bring back our dead.” I sucked in a sharp breath. “Then tell me, Felix. What the fuck will?” He leaned forward, placing both hands on the table. “Strategy. We need a plan, not rage.” I scoffed. “Oh? And what plan do you have that will magically stop my men from dying like flies?” Felix

He turned to his men, barking out orders. “Double the perimeter. Get everyone ready. We hold our ground.” I watched him for a moment before speaking. “You have no idea who they are?” Damien exhaled sharply. “If I did, I wouldn’t be standing here wasting time.” Lucien chuckled. “Well, this is a nice change. Damien, the all-knowing, actually clueless for once. Feels good, doesn’t it?” Damien snapped his gaze to him, his teeth clenched. “Do you ever shut up?” Lucien grinned. “Not when I’m enjoying myself.” I ignored them, my mind racing. This wasn’t right. This wasn’t supposed to happen. I came here to kill Damien, to end this war once and for all. But now? Now it felt like something much bigger was coming. Something we weren’t prepared for. I took a deep breath, trying to push down the unease creeping up my spine. “If we don’t

Lucien’s POV The silence that followed Seraphina’s retreat was deafening. I could still feel her claws against my skin, the ghost of her grip lingering like a brand. My throat burned where she had nearly ended me, but it wasn’t the pain that rattled me—it was the look in her eyes before she let go. Damn her. I sat up slowly, wincing as my ribs protested the movement. The battlefield stretched out around me, chaos still raging in the distance, but for the first time, I wasn’t focused on the war. I was focused on her. She had every reason to kill me. Hell, she wanted to. But she didn’t. Why? I ran a hand through my hair, letting out a bitter chuckle. I already knew the answer. She might have convinced herself she hated me, that she wanted me dead, but the bond between us told another story. Seraphina still felt it. Even after everything. A sudden snarl snapped me out of my thoughts, and I barely had time to roll out of the way before claws slashed through the space where I’d bee

His golden eyes locked onto mine, burning through the darkness. A slow smirk pulled at his lips, even with the blood dripping from his temple. "Seraphina," he called back, voice deep, mocking. "You finally came. Took you long enough."I clenched my fists. "I would’ve come sooner if I knew you'd still be breathing."He chuckled low, shaking his head. "You always were impatient."I took a step forward, my grip tightening on my dagger. "I’m not here for Damien. I don’t give a damn about this war. You think I’m fighting for him? You think I care who wins?" I let out a bitter laugh. "I came here for you, Lucien."His smirk didn’t waver. "Is that so?""You killed my parent

  • The Alpha's Forbidden Luna   Chapter 132

Seraphine's POVIn no time, I was at the borders of Lucien's pack. Just as I predicted, some of Damien's forces were still here, waging war. The air was thick with smoke, the scent of burning wood and blood mixing into something sickening. My eyes watered as I tried to see through the haze, but it was near impossible. The war had turned everything into a living nightmare. The pack walls—what was left of them—stood in jagged, crumbling ruins. Stones lay scattered like broken bones, pieces of wood charred black, barely holding onto their original form. The once-proud gates that had stood tall and strong were now reduced to splinters, torn apart by the endless battle.I swallowed hard, my throat dry. Was this the same pack I had once called home? The same pack where I had walked as a Luna? It was a skeleton of its former self, a ghost town caught in the middle of destruction. Bodies lay sprawled across the ground, warriors from both sides fallen where they fought. The walls, once meant t

"I need to leave. I need to get back to my mission.""Lucien is the only thing that matters." Fiona's voice was sharp in my head, her growl vibrating through my bones. "These people? They’re just collateral damage."I swallowed hard, my steps slowing. Fiona was right. My hatred for Lucien burned hotter than anything else. The people here—his pack, his warriors, even the children—they weren’t my concern."I understand," I whispered. "I do. But…"I stopped, my fingers digging into my palms. My chest felt tight. My body was telling me to turn around, to leave, to find Lucien and finish what I started. But my heart—the part of me I had buried deep inside—hesitated."Don’t tell me you’re feel

I had to get to Lucien’s pack.I finally caught sight of the tracks, the ones I knew too well. My breath hitched as I stopped and stared at them."I know this place," I muttered, my fingers brushing against the rough bark of a tree beside me."You should. This is where Ryder tried to kill us," Fiona growled in my head, her voice full of anger. "The bastard thought we wouldn’t survive."I swallowed hard, memories rushing back like a flood. The cold grip of fear, the feeling of betrayal, the pain—everything came back at once. I clenched my fists, shaking my head."That was the past," I whispered. He always tried to hold me back, always said it was too dangerous. But I didn’t care. I was going to sneak out tonight, no matter what. I had already made up my mind. These thoughts ran through my head even as we made our way back from hunting. The sun was still high, though the afternoon had started to fade into evening. The forest around us was quiet except for the distant calls of birds and the rustling of leaves in the wind. I should have been paying attention, but my mind was elsewhere. My grip tightened around the bow slung over my shoulder.“Seraphina?” Kieran’s voice cut through my thoughts.I blinked, realizing I had been staring blankly ahead, lost in my own head.
