I woke up to an unfamiliar ceiling, my mind foggy from the previous night's events. The room was tidy, with a few pieces of furniture that seemed out of place. As I sat up and removed the cover from my body, I looked around, trying to remember where I was, and that was when my memories clicked. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up, stretching my arms.

I stood up wanting to search for Eva, but that was when I saw her, snoring softly, her body sprawled across the bed. I approached her, a small smile on my face, and gently tapped her shoulder.

She woke up with a start, her eyes wide with surprise. She sat up immediately, her hair disheveled, and greeted me with a flustered "Good morning, Alpha Lorenzo."

I nodded at her, keeping a cold expression on my face. "Good morning, Eva. I'm leaving now. You should come later to my place, and we can discuss the contract further."

She nodded, still looking a bit dazed. "Okay, I'll come later."
