I shrugged and scratched the back of my head. "Uh… I just thought we could talk more about the details of our fake relationship. I've never been in one before, you know? I've never even dated for a long time. Christopher and I–"

"There's not much to discuss," he said, sharply interrupting me. "We'll just pretend to be a couple, go on a few dates, and make sure my mom believes it."

"Okay, that makes sense." I nodded.

Lorenzo turned to leave again but then stopped and turned back to me. "Actually, there is one more thing."

I looked at him curiously. "What's that?"

Lorenzo smiled mischievously. "We need to make our fake relationship look convincing. So, we should probably practice kissing and stuff."

My heart skipped a beat as I processed his words. Practice
