I walked into my apartment, a towel wrapped around my waist, having just stepped out of the shower, and I was looking forward to unwinding with a cup of coffee before bed. After entering the kitchen, I began preparing the coffee, savoring the aroma that filled the air.

Just as I was about to take a sip, my phone rang. I wiped my hands on the towel and picked up the call. It was Miss Evelyn, my secretary.

"Hello, Mr. Monroe," she said, her voice calm. "I hope I'm not disturbing you."

"Not at all, Evelyn," I replied, curious about the late call. "What's up?"

"Well, I just got an important call," she said, her tone turning serious.

My curiosity was piqued. I couldn't recall her ever calling me outside of work hours.

"Alright, what is it about?" I asked, letting out a sigh.

"It's about Sophia. She has been reported for scamming someone again," Miss Evelyn replied.

"What?" I sighed, shaking my head.
