I tossed and turned on the couch, my mind a jumble of emotions - sadness, anger, and frustration. I still can't believe my sister had been tracking me, invading my privacy with a location device on my phone. The thought makes my skin crawl. With a surge of defiance, I switched it off, the screen going dark like my mood.

I ruffled my hair, the tension in my scalp echoing the turmoil in my heart. But then, I thought; Why didn't Lorenzo see me as worthy of being his personal nurse? The question gnawed at me, fueling my self-doubt. I wish I had done better, proven myself more capable. The what-ifs swirl in my mind like a vortex, pulling me down into a sea of despair.

Letting out a deep sigh, I threw off the blanket and rose from the couch, my phone clutched tightly in my hand. I couldn't stay there anymore, not with the anger and hurt simmering inside me. I didn't care that it was dark outside; I didn't care about anything right now. I just wanted to escape, to get away from Lorenzo's
