I felt my feet land on solid ground in a thud and fell out of balance, but Alpha Jett's was quick to steady me. His arms wrapped around my waist, holding me close to his body and my face was pressed on his muscled chest. I groaned in displeasure.

"We're here in our family's mansion, babe," he whispered in my ears, almost nuzzling my ears. The act itself was intimate and it took my breath away. Damn!

"Did you just did it on purpose?" I asked in annoyance.

He chuckled softly. "It was an accident, babe. My first instinct is to grab your waist to prevent you from falling to the floor. Believe me, I'm innocent," he said defensively, his voice flirtatious.

I pushed him away, freeing myself from him. I looked around my surroundings and noticed how luxurious the mansion was. The modern state of the art appliances tells me that this mansion cost a lot of money to make. I wonder how rich the Alpha King's family was and where their wealth came from? None of my business of course.
