A Complex Game.

As soon as Valtira heard the bathroom door creak open, she swiftly transformed her expression to one of hurt. Alpha Kael, emerging with a towel wrapped around his waist, couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her. He approached her, attempting to gain her attention, but she pushed his hand away.

"Come on, Valtira. Don't be like that," Alpha Kael coaxed, trying to turn her to face him.

"Me?!" Valtira lashed back, her voice trembling with hurt and anger. "You're putting this on me, Kay? When it's you who's been acting distant since you returned from that stupid town with Aurora? Tell me, what am I missing? Did you suddenly fall for the mother of your unborn pup, whom you claimed to have no feelings for?"

Valtira paused, her eyes blazing with emotion.

"If that's the case, tell me now. Because I don't know what we are to each other anymore. You're slowly making me feel like the other woman in your life when it should be Aurora feeling that way and not me. Am i the home wrecker? B
