3:Hidden feelings

I gulped and stared into Alpha Gabriel's eyes, pure lust and desire shooting down my body and pooling between my legs. The heat of his body as it rested solidly against mine was delicious and made my knees weak. I wanted to grab his waist and grind against him, and I felt I would go crazy if I didn't.

"What is happening?",Moon whispered in my mind.

"You tell me",I whisper back to her.

"I think we are about to get laid",Moon snickered and I felt another rush of pleasure between my legs.

"Alpha Gabriel?",I whispered huskily, wondering why he trapped me against the wall and just stared into my eyes.

"Serenity",he said softly. The way he called my name with his deep sexy voice was more than I could take. I let out a sound, half gasp, half moan, and forced myself to answer him.

"Yes?",I whispered.

"I want you",Alpha Gabriel began, and I felt my heart leap at his words. Did Alpha Gabriel just say he wanted me?

However, the disappointment hit me with such full force when he continued what he had been saying. "To stay away from Declan"

"Ouch",Moon said.

I frowned. He wanted me to stay away from Declan? Why? Was he... jealous?

"Why?",I dared to ask.

"You're a distraction to him",Alpha Gabriel continued, his dark eyes staring at me so intently that I felt myself hypnotized by his gaze. "Whatever is going on between you too, I want it to end"

I suddenly felt pissed. Did he think Declan and I were a thing? Declan was the one who wouldn't just let me be. My eyes flashed angrily and I glared up at him.

"I have nothing going on with Declan",I spoke icily, unable to hide the annoyance in my voice. "I have tried to make him know several times that I am not interested in a relationship with him. Not until I find my mate next year"

Alpha Gabriel's eyes darkened when the words left my lips. There was some kind of emotion in his eyes and before I could decipher it, it vanished.

"Try harder",he simply said. I felt him press his hard body against mine as he leaned forward. "I don't want to see you with him"

"And why is that?",I asked in a hoarse shaky voice. The intimate position I had with him was making it hard for me to think. I could hear Moon moaning like a deranged lunatic in my mind and I tried hard to block her out. I fixed my unwavering gaze on Alpha Gabriel.

"Tell me, Alpha Gabriel",I said, tilting my head upwards until my lips were a few inches from his. "Do you hate the fact that one of your warriors is obsessed with me? Why? Could it be you... have developed feelings for me too?"

Alpha Gabriel stared at me silently and I saw his gaze lower to my lips. Would he kiss me? My heart quickened with the thought. I made a bold move and leaned forward. I touch his lips with mine and I felt his body jerk violently.

In the next second, his strong arms wrapped around my hips and hoisted me upwards. With my legs wrapped around his waist, he pinned me against the door, pushing the thick bulge in his pants against the hot center between my legs.

This time, I let out a soft moan and tightened my legs around him.

Alpha Gabriel's eyes had shifted to gold and I saw him grit his teeth hard before he slammed his lips on me.

I felt my insides explode as his lips connected with mine. My breath caught in my throat, my heart slammed against my chest. Unknowingly, my hands lifted and wrapped itself around Alpha Gabriel's neck.

The kiss was intense, awakening every lustful feeling about him that I had kept buried. His large palms that held my hips possessively made me yearn for something more, something forbidden. I wanted Alpha Gabriel so much, in a way I have never wanted any man.

"Damn, Serenity",Alpha Gabriel groaned when he broke the kiss. His lips trailed down the side of my neck, igniting tiny flames that threatened to consume my entire being. He sniffed my scent like his life depended on it.

When his eyes finally connected with mine again, they were no longer gold. They were back to their hypnotic dark colour.

"Do as I say, and stay away from Declan",he said to me. "I don't want to see you in such close range with any of the warriors"

Before I could say a word, Alpha Gabriel lowered me to the floor, allowing my body slide down the swollen bulge in his pants. My legs quaked and I had to grit my teeth to steady them.

"Now",Alpha Gabriel said and turned away from me. He walked to the mini bar at the corner of his enormous living room and poured out a glass of liquor. "Tell me what happened last night. Don't leave out a single detail"

My mind was still mushy, unable to process a coherent thought. I was shaken deeply with what just occurred. I just had an intense make out session with the sinful Alpha Gabriel. Did this mean he felt the same way I felt?

"Serenity",Alpha Gabriel prodded, staring at me with those seductive dark eyes.

I gulped, moistened my lips and began to narrate the attack of the rogue wolf the previous night.

Alpha Gabriel

I watched Serenity struggle to speak as she narrated how the rogue attacked her the previous night. I couldn't deny it, I enjoyed seeing her this way. Flustered, her mesmerizing emerald eyes clouded with desire and lust.

I had to admit, I had wanted to kiss her since the day I began to notice her. She was so beautiful, with a body that drove me insane just by staring at her. I wanted to peel off every layer of clothing she had on, and make love to her until she screamed my name.

Spirit, my inner wolf, growled disapprovingly at me. I understood why he disagreed. Serenity wasn't my mate.

Yet.

I was going on forty and I still hadn't found my mate. I was supposed to find her twenty years ago, but I didn't and I had no idea why the moon goddess would want to punish me by leaving me mateless.

Three years ago, I began to notice Serenity and I swear, I felt a strong connection with her. I couldn't tell if she was my mate, because she hadn't turned twenty. I could only wait until that full moon night when she would turn twenty and I would know why I felt such attraction towards her.

I had tried to suppress my feelings but it was a losing battle. Which was why when I saw her standing so close to one of my warriors, Declan, I grew furious. I didn't want any man being so close to her.

I know I was being selfish amd unreasonable. Serenity wasn't my mate.

Yet.

But I wanted her for myself. I hadn't planned on kissing her when I invited her into my house, but from the moment she made that lustful sound to the point where she placed her lips on mine, I knew I couldn't resist.

I smiled a little as she stumbled over her words and finally explained how the attack had occured.

I quickly put away the desire I felt for her and began to ponder on the attack. Why did the rogue decide to attack her alone? Was there something more to it?

"Is that all?",I asked when she managed to finish. "Did anything else happen when you got home?"

I saw her eyes dart around and she tucked her hair behind her ear nervously. This aroused my suspicion instantly. She was hiding something.

"Tell me, Serenity",I gently prodded her. "Did anything else occur that I should know of?"

She shook her head and finally stared up at me boldly. "That's all that happened, Alpha Gabriel. Nothing else"

I watched her in silence for a while and she averted her eyes. This gave weight to my suspicions. Something else had happened, and she was hiding it from me.

"Very well",I said finally, downed the glass of liquor I had and pushed off the mini bar. "Go for your training. I will look into the matter"

"Yes, Alpha Gabriel",she said and smiled a little. Her eyes lingered on mine for the briefest second before she turned away.

"And Serenity",I called.

She turned slowly and stared up at me. "Yes?"

"If you have something else to say to me, about the attack of yesterday, don't hesitate to come here"

Her eyes darted away from mine for a few seconds and she nodded. "I will, Alpha Gabriel",she said softly.

She turned and walked towards the door and my eyes lowered to the swinging motion of her hips until she stepped out.

I needed to release some steam.

The door opened again and my beta, Killian stepped in. He was shirtless like me and dripping with perspiration.

"The warriors are ready, Alpha",he informed me.

"Killian, I want you to do something for me",I told him, quickly making up my mind. "Keep an eye on Serenity, and report anything you see to me"

"Yes, Alpha",Killian nodded, but his eyes were filled with curiosity. "But why her? Did something happen?"

"No. But I think something will happen soon",I said and turned towards the door.
