Violet

When we wake up I feel surprisingly refreshed. For one, I’m not worried about what the day will bring because I know that even if we kill Xavier Black today, Phoenix will still be by my side.

Phoenix tells us, “We only have a few more miles to get to the Black Night Pack. If we keep a good pace we should get there by lunch.”

Magnolia smiled softly, obviously pleased by the news. We all get to our feet and start walking and Magnolia asks, “What’s our plan once we get there?”

Phoenix answers, “I’m hoping we’ll be able to find one of the tunnels that Violet described. It’s best for us to hide out in a place that not many others know about.”

I breathe out, “Hopefully, I’ll be able to find it fast. We can’t risk people noticing us.”
