Chapter 96

Killian's point of view

I pushed the door to Thea's chamber open. My eyes scanned around the room, dwelling on the figure that was positioned on the bed. It was Thea. She was sitting on the edge of the bed, she didn't even look my way. It was as though she was lost in her thoughts. Suddenly, she shook gently, her eyes pulled down to the sharp dagger in her hands, and she focused on it briefly, thinking deeply. My eyes widened in horror as Thea drew the dagger to the skin of her neck. My blood instantly turned cold.

"Thea!" I yelled, Immediately, my legs moved with speed and I crossed the room, gaiting to the bed where Thea was sitting, holding a dagger to her neck, before she could slit her throat, I gripped her wrist tightly. "Thea, stop!" My hold was firm, and my amber eyes glowered down at her.

"No, Killian, please, let me do this," she yelled in tears, and with my nonhuman strength, I yanked the dagger away from her grip, but unfortunately, its sharp blade slit my wrist, before la
