Lord Galadriel's fears were confirmed. The words spasmed shivers he had never felt in years.

His hand went up to his chest in an attempt to calm his pants, and Vader had to hold him from behind as he feared he might collapse.

"Let's go in. We shouldn't be having this conversation here", Vader suggested.

And supporting Galadriel, they went into the chamber with the guards. Vader had to help Galadriel to a seat before proceeding to pour him some water. The fifty-one years old VampLord was seeming he might suffer from a heart attack. He wouldn't blame him; that was the scariest news anyone could hear.

When the water reached him, Galadriel took large gulps and sighed heavily as he slammed the cup on the table.

"How did this happen?" He got to his feet and asked, his eyes looking all red and furious as he glared at the guards.

"We...We have no idea, My Lord. Mato, Kasa and Karuk were in charge of guarding the mountain prison yesterday. So, Edgar and I left two nights ago, leaving the mountain in their watch. However...we returned this morning to meet the tragedy - all three guards were dead on the ground, and when we went into the prison, Jaha was gone", Dasan explained with so much fear.

For a man who was well built like him, the fear didn't suit him. But at that moment, he didn't know which to be more scared of - the strange escape of the most dreaded VampLord, or the anger of Lord Galadriel.

"This is outrageous", Vader gritted. "Jaha has been locked up for eight years. Why would he suddenly escape? And with who's help? We all know he couldn't had done it himself, he had the rondel dagger in him".

There was a brief pause as the guards lowered their heads in diffidence.

"Unfortunately, the only persons that could've given us the full details are dead. Mato, Kasa and Karuk. They're all dead. Now, we have no idea what happened", Raksha grouse.

Lord Galadriel paced tho and fro for a while. Restlessness dwelt on him. He never thought he'd have to worry so much about a person. He never thought he'd have to be so troubled.

"This cannot be happening", he grumped. "This... Not now", he paused and ran his fingers into his hair, dishevelling it.

"Take me to the mountain prison. I need to see things for myself", he turned to the guards and said. "But for now, we must keep this between us. Not even a word should get out. If anyone, especially the wolves gets to hear of this, we will be doomed - everything and everyone. This whole collaboration will be a waste! We must keep this to ourselves. Am I understood?"

"Yes, My Lord", Raksha and Mato responded quickly with a bow.

And when Galadriel noticed Vader didn't, he turned to him.

"Vader, am I understood?" He asked emphatically, looking right into his eyes.

He wasn't doubting his right-hand man, but at that moment, he needed to be sure.

"Of course, My Lord", Vader lowered his head.

And finally, they left the room.

Masha was beginning to feel so uncomfortable with the silence in the room. The prince was still standing by the window and her waist was beginning to hurt a little. Although, the long wait and silence had aided in reducing her tension. But now, she was beginning to feel borer and tired.

Why hadn't he made a move? Surely, she shouldn't be first one to make a move. So, what was she supposed to do? Her father might not be happy if she walks away.

She traipsed to the bed and sat, concluding she couldn't keep standing. The silence was so awkward, she wondered how a married life would be with someone like him. If only the whole thing could turn out to be a prank, or a dream. How badly she wished...

Playing with her nails, she dwelt on her thoughts. Should she be the first to speak? But that shouldn't be the order. Moreover, he had nearly knocked her down the previous day, shouldn't he be apologizing or something?

The thoughts disturbed her, until suddenly, he turned away from the window.

Masha felt a skip in her heartbeat the moment he made that move. She didn't realize when she sprang to her feet, like she had been wrong for sitting. There was something about this guy - something that brought about a commanding aura even without him trying.

She gripped the sides of her dress and noticed he didn't even look at her as he walked away from the window, going to the table before him. At least, she was able to look at him.

He was handsome - no doubt. Not just handsome, but charming. His hair was brushed into a ponytail and dressed in a shoulder-padded suit, he looked just like a fighter. Indeed, the rumours about him were true. Prince Czar was always ready for a fight.

She watched him pour himself some wine and slugging from the cup afterward. She stood adjacent to him, yet he acted like he couldn't see her.

He emptied the wine in his cup and began pouring some more, to the discomfort of Masha who had lowered her head.

"Have you killed before?"

Masha flipped her head at once, surprised she had heard his voice. Of course, it had to be him because they were the only ones in the room.

Her eyes goggled in bewilderment. First, she was surprised he had finally said something. And secondly, what was he question?

-Have you killed before?- she was sure those were the words she had heard, she just couldn't comprehend why he'd ask such. Maybe he was mistaken.

Czar slurped down the second cup of wine and hit for the third.

"I asked a question", he grumped while pouring in the wine. "Have you killed before?" This time around, he lifted his gaze at her.

It was the first time he was sparing Masha a stare, it made her twitch. But one thing she noticed - his blue-flecked eyes were the coldest she had ever seen. They complimented how icy his voice was.

Back to his question, she arched her brows and shook her head.

"N...No. I haven't", her eyes flickered with confusion.

"Well, I have", Czar added immediately.

Holding his cup of wine, he flitted toward her. Masha felt a twinge of fear. What was he doing? Why was he getting closer?

She darted backward but stopped when her legs hit the bed. Her breath hitched as he kept coming closer but eventually stopped with a very short gap. He was standing so close to her, his mean eyes intimidating and making her feel he might eat her up.

"I have killed a lot of people and ninety-five percent of them were vampires", he continued, looking into her eyes.

Masha could feel his breath on her face.

"This implies that I hate vampires so much. I hate them with everything in me and seeing one makes me realize how much I love using my claws. It disgusts me that I have to get married to you, but for your own sake, I hope our fathers are not making a big mistake".

Masha had to gulp nervously. His words were so raw and blunt, she couldn't believe it. At that point, she could barely see the handsomeness in him, but a scarred man who had nothing but hate and revenge.

After staring silently at her for a few minutes, he let the cup spill on the floor and left the room.

"Father needs to reconsider his decision", Masha cut her off, yanking off her hair band and tossing it to the floor. Terra's face crumpled up, noticing how peeved her friend looked. It was apparent the meeting didn't go down well. "Calm down, Masha. What happened?" She drew closer and inquired. "What else? Prince Czar or whatever he's called is the most arrogant person I've ever had to deal with. You wouldn't believe the words he said to me. And to think father wants us to get married tomorrow", she huffed as she sat on the bed to take off her shoes. "Tomorrow??" Terra nearly yawped. "But that is...too close. You don't even know him yet". "Exactly!" Masha hit her thighs. "I really don't know what's wrong with father. His desperation... I'm beginning to think he has a different motif for

Masha and her mother simply joined them. And almost immediately, Luna Eve and Sephora entered."The women are always late", King Gregory chaffed - but Arabella was the only one that chuckled."But I came in time, father. Isn't that right?" she beamed."You sure did, dear".Arabella glanced at Kona who was deeply concentrated on his meal. She had been trying so hard to make him notice her, but it wasn't working. She wondered if he actually knew she was there. Nevertheless, she wasn't ready to give up.&nb

Even with their fast horses and carriages, it had taken the wolves four days to get to their pack. They camped at night and journeyed during the day. Everything smelt like the wolves and she wondered how she'd co-exist with them, being the only vampire. It was already evening and dusk was near. As soon as they alighted their carriages, Czar walked away before anyone else. The king and queen were also alighting theirs while being welcomed by the servants. Masha was befuddled and just stood by her empty carriage, not knowing what to do or where to go. She felt like a slave who had just been bought. Seconds passed, and Masha could still not find her words. She felt trapped in front of him, unable to look away despite how nervous she felt. Czar finally took a step back, his steely gaze on her. "I thought so too." He mumbled and started towards the door. Masha sprang to her feet and ran to him, pulling his wrist just before he'd reach for the door. Czar looked at her and found nothing but deep fear eating her up. Her gaze was on the floor."Y... She forced her eyes from the floor to look at him. "... I'd want it as well, my prince. I'd... want to have this experience with you."Czar turned properly to face her. That was when she let go of his wrist and returned her gaze to the floor. "Are you sure?" His voice was low. Masha, Arabella and Kona spent a long time in the guest room, and the whole time, Arabella did most of the talking. She never knew Arabella could actually be so funny. She kept cracking jokes and making Kona laugh enough. When it was night, they decided it was best to leave him to sleep. Masha kissed him goodnight - on the cheek - before leaving with Arabella. "Your brother is so welcoming." Arabella remarked as they walked down the hallway. Her cheeks were all red. "Are you sure? If you ask me, I'd say it was you who was welcoming." She laughed."Huh? That's not true. Don't make it sound like I was throwing myself on him." She puckered her lips. "I hope you're not catching feelings for my brother, dear Arabella. I'll tell you one thing, that guy is a flirt.""That's not true. He doesn't look like one."There was a little silence between them. "Well, I am not catching feelings for him. Czar didn't know what had happened before his arrival for the room, but seeing the way Masha and his mother stood apart, and the way Masha's hand was holding her cheek with shock in her eyes, he could easily fix the puzzle. He couldn't comprehend how it made him feel, knowing his mother had laid hands on Masha. Whatever it was, it didn't feel good. Eve shifted her gaze to Czar immediately, trying to get rid of the repugnant look on her face. "Son, you're here. I actually came for you "Masha's hand was already down from her face, but displeasure shadowed her countenance. The queen's slap still hurt, and she felt so much bitterness to know she couldn't retaliate. If it had been anyone else but the queen, Absalom knows she'd have done something about it. Czar noticed how Masha kept her gaze glued to the floor. The part of her face that had been hit had turned crimson already. Anger shadowed her face, she didn't even try to pay homage to him."I need to have a word with you." His vo

Mace stood like a sentinel, his hands clasped behind his back, watching in silence as the Prince drew his bowstring taut. The training field was empty and quiet, and that was because Czar had requested to be alone. His shoulders commanded the space as he extended his arms towards the target. And in a seamless motion, he released the string, sending the arrow perfectly to hit his target which was a wooden board in front of him. He sighed in approval, took another arrow and worked it's way into his bow."The test has been conducted." Mace said suddenly. "And it was positive."Czar didn't spare him a glance, neither did his fingers freeze at any point as he aimed his bow at his target and pulled the string. It went perfectly to the board again."Are you surprised?" He finally asked, taking out another arrow. "Well... I'd bet even you were surprised." Mace chuckled. Czar's face remained cold as he shot at his target again and turned to get another arrow. "Is that the reason you have

Masha's eyelids fluttered open, allowing the soft morning light to gently caress her face. As her mind slowly emerged from the haze of sleep, she began to piece together the fragments of her memory, causing a mix of embarrassment and anxiety to swirl within her. A jagged breath escaped her throat. Holding on tight to the duvet on her, she darted her eyes around the room, and only then did she notice Czar had been there all along. She gasped, taking her eyes away immediately. Suddenly catching sight of him made her heart race faster and her breath come quicker. He was standing in front of his table, dressed in a black flowing robe that touched the door. And the way he linked his hands behind his back gave him a kind of 'bad lord' look. She couldn't look at him. Not anymore. But in that mini second she had looked in his direction, she noticed something else on his table. The table wasn't occupied with books and scripts like it used to. Instead, it was occupied with various meals. T

As Czar's hands closed around hers, Masha's whole body trembled with fear and anxiety. The room seemed to shrink, and no matter how hard she wanted to, she couldn't brace herself for what was about to happen. Czar turned her around so she could back him, and slowly, he loosened her dress and pulled down her sleeves until it was below her shoulders. He gave a momentarily pause, then continued steadily until her full boobs came bouncing out of the dress. A chill ran through Masha. At that point, she was tempted to push him off and just run off, but she wasn't ready for how embarrassing that would be. Czar left the dress to fall freely to her legs, leaving her in her all natural form. It surprised him that she had no underwear. She had really come prepared. Her back was a sight to behold. The curves of her buttocks, firm and mesmerizing, made it so difficult for him to resist to grab them. Her hair, black and glossy, cascaded down her bare back, inviting him in. A beauty she was - h

Czar moved with an icy gait into his room, his hands fisted beside him. His mind was a mess, and as he lowered himself on the bed, Mace took a long stare at his face."I cannot believe this," he scoffed. "This is a very big problem, my prince. What do you plan to do about it?"Czar said nothing. He just clasped his palms and gazed into space."There are so many excuses you could have made," Mace went on. "So many lies. Why did it have to be that? A lie so complicated?""That was the fastest lie I could think of," Czar answered, his voice a little rough. "I had no idea my father would never believe me."He rose from the bed, moving to confront the window."Father sounded too sure. I have a feeling he might have been spying on me," Czar added, his piercing eyes gazing out the window."Perhaps. Or maybe he's just very sure that you are not so free with the vampire yet. You know, you make it quite obvious." Mace shrugged."For now, you just need to think of a way to get over this situatio

Czar mixed the treatment in the bowl, and by the time he was done, Masha was still on the bed, fully dressed. He expected Junior to be a little difficult for her, but at that moment, it seemed like he didn't have the time. He dropped the bowl on the table and approached her. "On your feet," he instructed. Masha felt a little intimidated. He looked like he was offended by something. She gulped nervously and forced herself to stand, giving him her back because she knew he wanted to help her with the knots in her dress. Although they had yet to consummate their marriage, it didn't change the fact that he was her husband and had the right to her body. An icy finger cascaded down her spine as she felt him manoeuvre the zipper of her dress. As soon as it was brought down, she supported her dress against her chest, not wanting her boobs to fall out. For a long time, she felt Czar's eyes on her back, and it made her wonder if her injuries were that bad. "On the bed." He moved away from
