"I'm sorry, your Alpha," I said, as I slowly entered my room, not being able to hold back my tears. I was in big trouble for not being present when he needed me to satisfy him yesterday. Instead, I had foolishly given my body to his brother, who I stupidly was in love with, and had gone away with him, when I knew I shouldn't have. "I'm so sorry, Alpha Maximus; please don't punish me, I beg off you."

Alpha Maximus slid his well-built body to the end of the bed, gently raised himself to his full height, powerful, as the mighty Alpha he was. His glowing, light brown eyes were fixed on me. Soon, he began to approach me. Every powerful step he took, my body shivered. I was scared of what punishment he'd give me for disobeying him. I couldn't stand it anymore. As he got closer and closer to me, I fell to my knees.

"Please don't hurt me," I begged, my voice trembling. "Please............"

Alpha Maximus took one last step before me. He stood so close to me that my legs touched his hard sho

"Get up!" Alpha Maximus said as he hastily dressed. My eyes quickly went away from Marcel, and I ran over to my bed feeling so ashamed and red-faced for what he had caught us almost doing. I sat at the front of the bed breathing heavily and distressed by the embarrassing situation. I felt breathless. I lowered my head and stared sadly at the floor. "What is it you want, brother?" I heard Alpha Maximus ask Marcel. "Couldn't it wait until later?" I slowly raised my head to peek at Zeta Marcel. On seeing great anger in his eyes, I immediately returned my eyes to the floor and my hand began to shake. It was hard to look him in the eyes. "Gilliard is here," I heard Marcel's brief response. My eyes closed tightly, and I bit my bottom lip, as I heard nothing but hurt and pain in his voice. I felt so ashamed and miserable. I immediately came off the bed and sat on the floor where no one could see me. It was quite stupid and very childish of me to do so, but being in a position like that,

"Please walk quickly," Natasha told me. I hurriedly walked behind her until I gained on her in the passageway. We walked side by side. She passed the turn to the garden. "We just passed the way to the garden," I worriedly told her. Just as she feared being late for the event, so did I. I didn't want to anger the Luna or her alpha mate. "I have worked in this castle for years; just follow me and shut up," Natasha said. I quietly followed her, trusting that she knew what she was doing and hoped we would be at the event before it started. We went along another passageway and soon we entered through a large door. I slowed down, seeing that we had finally reached, and I gazed at the beautiful area of the garden, a section of the garden I'd never been to. I guessed my wolf hadn’t run far enough. There were no roses in this section of the garden, but there were very large trees with colorful flowers that made me think that I was in the woods, instead of a garden. "Stop gazing and foll

Was this event a part of Marcel's plan, to win me from his brother? I was worried. My eyes went to Luna Trina. Her eyes and mouth were wide open. She gazed at Marcel, surprised. "Marcel, please don't do this," Luna Trina pleaded with him as she touched his hand. Marcel immediately moved her hand away from his. "Stay out of this!" Alpha Maximus yelled at his Luna. She immediately obeyed him. The crowd was silent, staring at the Alpha and his brother. The place was so silent that if you dropped a pin, you would surely hear it. "What is the meaning of this, brother?" Alpha Maximus asked Marcel. "You dare to challenge me for my title?" Marcel slowly walked up to him. Luna Trina grabbed him by his hand, looking petrified. Marcel shoved her into her chair and stood before his brother. "Has being the commander in all the wars with my enemies finally gotten to your head, that you wish to challenge me for my alpha title now, brother?" Alpha Maximus asked. In his eyes, I could see conc

My eyes widened in shock. "I must make you carry my pup, Bella, for my brother to leave you alone." Immediately I stepped back away from Marcel, staring at him, frightened, while my heart raced heavily in my chest. All along, I knew there was a secret to why the Alpha needed a concubine. Something didn't feel right the day Luna Trina chose me for her alpha mate. I felt it. It was not usual for a Luna to share her fated alpha mate with another she-wolf. Also, Luna Trina was a beautiful she-wolf any wolf would be happy to have, which again made it quite odd for an Alpha to want to share his home with a mistress. I sadly lowered my head, knowing I was only brought there for the purpose of my womb, and fooled to think I was only there to help satisfy the Alpha's sexual urges. I was only there to be impregnated by him. "Luna Trina cannot give my brother an heir, that's why you were brought here," Marcel told me. "You're here to give him a son that will one day take my brother's place."

We cuddled in bed after such a sensual moment. "I'll hold you forever," Marcel told me as he squeezed me into his arms. I smiled and turned to kiss him. "I have something I want to give you," he said and quickly jumped out of bed, naked. "What is it?" I asked, sitting up and watching him quickly searching a drawer for something. He returned to me holding a piece of white silky clothing. He sat beside me and started to unwrap it revealing what was inside. "This once belonged to my grandmother, then my mother," he said. I stared at a beautiful gold necklace with a small, golden heart pendant. "It's beautiful," I told him. Marcel threw aside the silky cloth and went behind me. My body became still. "Before my mother died, she told me I should give this to that special she-wolf in my life and now I'm gladly doing that," he said to me as he placed the necklace around my neck. My hand gently touched the shiny smooth pendant, and I felt so special. I spun around and he kissed me.

I had been pacing around the room since Marcel had gone off to put a stop to the rogues attacking our land. I had gone to the window several times, peeking anxiously to see him return. I was shaking non-stop, worrying about him and pleading to the Moon Goddess to protect him. Marcel was a great warrior and had always won every battle he was a part of. Still, that didn’t help me. I couldn’t help worrying. What if this was the time, he’d be unsuccessful in his battle, and I’d lose him forever. I ran over to the bed and sat down, petrified by the horrible thought. My feet quivered. I tried to gain confidence, believing that Marcel was okay and had everything under control. The more I tried to think positively, the more dark thoughts filled my head of him lying on the ground, helpless and taking his last breath. I shook my head and ran over to the window. It'd been hours since Marcel had gone. It felt like years. I wanted him to return to me so badly. I needed to know if he was okay. "

"Are you sure he's dead?" Alpha Maximus asked the man. "Yes, Your Alpha," answered the fighter. Alpha Maximus threw me aside. I rolled on to the floor of the room and lay on my side. I wept so hard that my belly began to ache. "No, no, no," I kept on saying as I cried. I didn’t want to believe that Marcel was truly dead. Marcel was always victorious in his wars. He always returned from his battles. Why didn't he come home to me this time? I thought in pain. My heart and my belly ached so much for the loss of my love. I had never experienced so much pain until then. "Did you bring his body?" Alpha Maximus asked. In his voice, I could hear that he didn't care much about his brother's death, after Marcel had spent his life fighting for him and for his pack. He was heartless. All he thought about was having me for his own and giving him the children he wanted desperately. "No," the man answered. "Then where is he?!" Alpha Maximus yelled. Still lying on the floor, I turned to look

My eyes slowly opened as I regained consciousness. Luna Trina was still in the cell. She sat sadly on the small mattress. Her back was against the dirty, cold unpainted wall. Both her hands were around her legs and her chin rested against her knees as she curled up. Her body shivered like that of a cold pup. Tears slowly filled my eyes while I looked at her. My tears soon flooded my eyes, preventing me from seeing anything. I blinked away my tears. They slowly ran down my cheeks. It was inconceivable that Marcel was no longer there with me. I recollected us making love, trying to conceive a pup—a pup I was so eager and proud to give him. The only thing I had of him was the necklace that he gave me to demonstrate how truly he cared for me and then everything changed so fast. And now he was no longer here with me. "Marcel……. Marcel!" I screamed his name. Luna Trina started to sob. "I wish this didn't happen," she sobbed, turning to look at me. "If I'd known what Maximus had planned,

Quickly, I turned around and ran straight to my room. "Bella," I heard Marcel shout as he chased after me. Before I could close the door, Marcel stopped me. Our eyes met and we stared at each other. I slowly backed away from the door, spun around and walked over to the window. I stood there, sadly staring through it. My eyes closed as I heard his footsteps getting closer to me. Marcel stopped and I felt him stand behind me. I could feel the air from his nostrils touching the strands of my hair. "Bella," Marcel said softly. I didn't answer him, nor did I open my eyes to turn to look at him. One of his warm hands touched me. Immediately, my eyes opened. "Don't touch me," I said angrily. "I'm staying here with Alpha Dragos." I walked over to our pup that was sound asleep. Marcel stared sadly at me. "Why are you treating me this way now, Bella?" Marcel asked, seeming to be confused by my strange actions toward him. "He's my fated mate, Marcel, so I cannot return with you," I q

"I have something to tell you, Marcel," I said fretfully. "What is it?" Marcel asked in his powerful voice that could not hide his anxiety. "It's about where our baby is and who he's with," I told him, staring into his eyes. "Is our pup in danger?" he asked, and stood, his face worried. "No, no, he's fine," I told him as I too stood and tried to calm him down. "Then why are you afraid to tell me where our pup is?" Marcel asked, as his dark eyes pierced into mine. "It's because he's with my fated mate," I finally told him the whereabouts of our pup. Marcel froze, his face alarmed. I could see worries in his eyes, that at that moment he was worried about losing me. "Don't worry; I'm with you always," I told him as I caressed his strong broad shoulder and stared into his eyes. "Good, for I don't know what I would do if you were no longer in my life" he said, gently caressing my face. I smiled. I felt relieved that Marcel had handled the news well, but still I was a bit stressed

I couldn't believe it was Marcel standing before me. It felt so unreal. "Marcel," I cried happily as I ran toward him. Marcel's strong long right arm stopped me from getting close to him. "Who are you and what do you want?" he asked, his voice puzzled. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I stared at him, shocked. "Oh, there you are; you found him," Denah said as she came around the corner of the house, struggling with her shopping bag, trying to keep some of the things she had bought from falling out. "Who are you?" Marcel again asked. He seemed to be curious and his dark eyes that once used to be filled with love for me, were now empty. "I'm just a friend of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton," Denah answered. "They gave me this herb to give you." She handed him the small bag. Marcel took it from her. "Thanks," he said. He took another look at me and hastily went inside. I quickly wiped away my tears before Denah could see that I was crying. "Let's go," Denah said and turned to walk awa

That night, I didn't sleep. I was eager to see the town. I needed to find a job so I could leave as quickly as possible. Baby Marcel got up five times for the night, hungry and miserable. Luckily, I was able to put him back to sleep without having any trouble. Baby Marcel was an obedient baby. He got that from me, not his father. I smiled at that thought. It was morning. I tidied Baby Marcel and gave him his breakfast, breast milk. "Alpha Dragos wants you to have breakfast with him," the elderly maid said as she entered my room. I stared at her, worried. "I'll watch the baby for you and take care of him," the maid assured me and stretched out both hands to take Baby Marcel. I gave her my pup, not wanting to disobey the Alpha in his home. "If he starts to cry, let me know," I told her. "Yes," she said. “And, oh, Denah is waiting outside to escort you to the dining room." I kissed my baby before leaving. Alpha Dragos sat at the table, waiting for me. When he saw me, he immediat

I was brought to a very large home. Each side of the building was surrounded by plants that gave me a feeling of still being within the woods. The building was painted brown. It gave me a warm earthy feeling. I was placed in a well-decorated room and the door was shut from the outside. I gently held my baby in my arms and took notice of my new surroundings. I already hated it there. I felt like I was back in my land, locked again in the Alpha's castle. "Shh...," I hushed my baby as he began to cry. I slowly walked around the room rocking him gently, wanting him to be quiet. He didn't stop crying. I realized that I hadn't fed him since he was born. That must be the reason why he was miserable. I walked over to the bed, picked him up and gave him my breast. He hungrily suckled it. "I'm sorry, my pup," I said softly over him as I watched him. I felt such peace just gazing at him. He made me feel that everything was okay and that everything that had gone wrong in my life had never occu

I cried tears of joy, knowing my sweet pup in my arms was not Alpha Maximus's but his brother’s, my love, Zeta Marcel Wolffinton. I must save you, I thought worriedly as my pup's eyes, as dark as Marcel's, closed. I got off the bed and held him safely in my arms. "You need to rest," the doctor said and the nurse guided me back to bed. "I need to leave before the Alpha kills my baby," I told them as they tried to stop me. "The Alpha won't do such a thing; he'll be happy he has a boy," the doctor told me. "I vomited out the herbal cleanser the same day you gave me!" I yelled at him. He froze. Suddenly, the door opened. It was the Alpha accompanied by two guards. "You have a boy, Your Alpha," the doctor stuttered nervously and continued to stare at me. "Give me my son," the Alpha ordered me and began to approach me. The two guards stood at the door. As the Alpha got close to me, the nurse and doctor stepped away, not wanting to be close to me when the Alpha lay his eyes on my p

Wait! Luna Trina was pregnant? I was shocked. She had told me she was unable to bear a child. I stared at her belly which was the size of mine, very large. She seemed to be eight months pregnant as well. "I thought you were dead," I said to her, shocked to see her. "I thought so, too, but strangely I awakened from my sleep," Luna Trina said as she got close to me. My eyes were glued to her belly. I was curious. She looked at her belly then at mine. "I thought you couldn't get pregnant," I said to her. "That's why I'm here, to save you before that baby is born," she told me as she got closer to me and touched my shoulder. I stared into her green eyes, frightened. "If that child you conceive is a girl, my horrible mate will force you to have another until it's a boy, but if it's a boy…" Luna Trina paused as she turned her back. "He shall kill you and allow everyone to believe that I am the one who conceived his heir," Luna Trina said. She spun around to look at me with great wor

TWO WEEKS LATER.................... "Let me help you with your shoes, Ms. Bella," Natasha said as she ran toward me, and stooped before me. "Please avoid being angry; you don't want to put any pressure on your body," Natasha said. I stood up and walked away from her to the window. I was upset. "I entreat you to sit down, Ms. Bella; the Alpha ordered me to see to it that you're well-rested and not spend too much time on your feet, for the sake of both you and the baby." "We don't know if I'm with a pup yet!" I yelled, irritated by her. "So, please just leave and give me some time, alone." "Please calm down," implored Natasha. "How long will this method take?" Alpha Maximus asked the doctor, seeming to be curious. I sat silently on the bed and lowered my head dolefully, listening to their conversation. "The faster we get your sperm the quicker we can do this," responded the doctor. I raised my head to see the doctor reaching into his bag. He took out a small, empty squared bottle and gave it to the Alpha. "Masterbate and fill this," the doctor said, handing him the bottle. Alpha Maximus took the bottle from him. He placed it in his pocket and immediately left the room. "I've made something very thin with silicone to make it easier for you to insert it," the doctor turned to say to me. I stared at him, wondering what it was. "It's not like the artificial penis I've used before to send the sperm into the female. It's much thinner and smaller and at the end, it has a small ball where I will squeeze to get the sperm into your vaginal passage. I've made it quickly just for your sake, you beautiful she-wol
