My eyes widened in shock. "I must make you carry my pup, Bella, for my brother to leave you alone." Immediately I stepped back away from Marcel, staring at him, frightened, while my heart raced heavily in my chest. All along, I knew there was a secret to why the Alpha needed a concubine. I had been pacing around the room since Marcel had gone off to put a stop to the rogues attacking our land. I had gone to the window several times, peeking anxiously to see him return.
