As breakfast came to an end, the tension in the room lingered, fueled by Diana's subtle attempts to undermine Calla. Her words were laced with venom, a thinly veiled insult that aimed to diminish the woman I loved. I could feel the anger rising within me, a fiery response to her audacity.
