Chapter 25 Tricked

Freya's P.O.V

I had sent Julian off to a friend's house that night, for a sleep-over with one of his classmates. I hadn't realized that his friend's mom would be so welcoming when it came to Julian; turns out, they really liked Julian and I hadn't even realized it. After all, just because the entire place hated me didn't mean that they felt the same about my five year old brother.

But I knew something was wrong the second we stepped out of the van and were stopped at the gate to the humongous estate at 132 C.R Avenue, around eleven o' clock at night.

"You have an invite?" One of the two guards at the gate asked us, their brows furrowed as they looked us up and down in disdain.

"Yes," Jeremy took out the card from the envelop he was holding and handed it to the guards. "We're here to deliver food."
