Chapter 11 Has to be a Mistake

Cameron's P.O.V

A knock on my door startled me into looking up from my phone and at my mother, who had just poked her head in through my door and was now giving me a sheepish smile.

I frowned. "What is it?"

The only times she smiled like that was when she wanted some kind of 'technological favor', with either her smart-phone or any other electrical appliances around the house, especially when my dad wasn't around. Or…when I got in trouble with my dad.

That thought itself had my frown deepening because I hadn't done anything to get into trouble for. I had been getting good grades at school; been doing my regular training on time and I had aced the monthly soldier training test for the wolves that our pack held for teens.

"Mom?" I asked when she remained silent. "Am I in trouble?"

"Not really…" She hesitated as she entered my room, her blonde hair tied up into a tight bun and her fancy teal colored dress told me
