Locked Up

The wolves approached the tree they hid. But they were no where to be found.

"Are you sure someone was here?" The black wolf, who looked like the leader of them asked.

"I heard sounds around here, and I can still smell them." Anne said.

Anne was a smart wolf, and also sensitive. And so she was certain that indeed someone was around here. She had heard the foot steps of a group of people.

She knew that it wasn't an individual. But what had baffled her was the fact that they just disappeared all of a sudden.

This was strange to her. And she almost didn't believe that it could be possible.

"They're still here, I can still feel their presence, that too with their scent." Anne said.

"Hmm!" The other wolf exclaimed and retreated.

"What if this is a trick to get us distracted. No one's here and having to still perceive their scent could just be the delusion they want us to have. They might have give far." The black wolf said convincing Anne.
