Allison had a more serious and hurtful look while Dimitri on the other hand had a sympathetic look. He wanted to apologize to her for being so rude and harsh to her.

Even though her food wasn't as nice as he expected it to be, he should have appreciated her efforts but rather expressed his displeasure for her, and made her look like a fool.
