MATILDA'S POV

I woke up early the following morning feeling happy and optimistic, I was certain that the cause of my happiness was because I was leaving here soon. Very soon I would go back to my normal life and live the way I used to without any problems.

I watched Eva's face as she slept close to me on the bed. At first, I felt bad as I watched her, knowing well that I was about to leave her behind. I wondered how she would feel when she finds out I'm gone.

Well, it's not like there was any other choice anyway, there was no way I could keep staying there when Alpha Moses did not like me, and there was also no way I would make her go with me when she was already starting to experience a happy life with Louis.

Just then, she slowly opened her eyes and our eyes met immediately. I tried to look away from her as she looked up at me with a smile on her face.
